Goal

LadyShimura · 21/06/2024 21:28

Yes!! Go Netherlands.

littlbrowndog · 21/06/2024 21:29

Say what now

LadyShimura · 21/06/2024 21:31

Come on and decide.

littlbrowndog · 21/06/2024 21:31

Oh what

littlbrowndog · 21/06/2024 21:31

That’s rubbish

LadyShimura · 21/06/2024 21:31

What bollocks.

littlbrowndog · 21/06/2024 21:32

That is awful. That was a goal.

LadyShimura · 21/06/2024 21:32

Yeah. I dont understand the logic in not giving it.

littlbrowndog · 21/06/2024 21:33

I don’t even know why that was not a goal. Unbelievable shite.

AnneShirleysNewDress · 21/06/2024 21:35

Another appalling decision 😣

littlbrowndog · 21/06/2024 21:35

So Dumfries was offside but not blocking the goalie or his eyeline

LadyShimura · 21/06/2024 21:37

Dutch team must be bloody fuming.

burblish · 21/06/2024 21:46

Not being funny, but VAR checks have been notably quicker during Euro 2024 than in, say, the Premier League (semi-automated offside will have helped). Coincidence that in a match with an English ref and VAR (Anthony Taylor and Stuart Atwell respectively), we get a lengthy and ridiculous VAR decision where, yet again, the focus seems to have been to find whatever reason possible for ruling out a goal? I mean...is it just me?

littlbrowndog · 21/06/2024 21:48

Dull game so far

I agree. It just seems so pathetic to not giving it over questionable reasoning.

Definitely not just you!

SpikeyDee · 21/06/2024 21:50

It was absolutely a goal. Utter horseshit

burblish · 21/06/2024 21:56

Disappointing match in the end, and a shame that a lousy VAR decision by Stuart Atwell is the main talking point.

DuncinToffee · 21/06/2024 21:58

Ofcourse it was Atwell Confused

Not a good match but we were robbed

I expected better in that game, and that goal was a goal. Who paid off VAR.

YouOnlyCameToSeeEboue · 21/06/2024 22:00

I disagree with you all. I think the player stopped the keeper from diving to try and save it. Whether that should be an issue is another matter...

DuncinToffee · 21/06/2024 22:07

You are on your own there Eboue Grin

I don't think we played well enough to deserve the win and were lucky that Griezmann misfired so I take the draw.

Didn't agree with VAR decision.

I agree with you. You have to follow the rules. The goalie had no chance to dive because the off-side player was in the way.
