EURO 2024 kicks off in Munich on Friday 14 June and ends with the final in Berlin on Sunday 14 July

I'm off to Wembley tonight for England's final warm up game v Iceland - wonder what the line-up will be given we already know the final squad now? Will Southgate take a final look at some of the less-likely starters in action, or will it be closer to the side he hopes to put out against Serbia in the Euros opener?

I like the forwards and midfield but worry about the defence.

I don't know about Grealish, he is creative but erratic. Southgate likes safe.

I have watched every tournament since 1996, but I’ve got a massive work deadline for July. This tournament is going to cause me real problems because I’m not sure I can resist it.

Not much interest as Wales did not qualify.

Tournaments always fun in our house. I'm 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and DH is 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 or abe. DH off to Germany as he has a ticket for the opening match.
I was surprised at the choice of Dunk and not Branthwaite. A bit worried about our defence.

Ah how did you find it?? I went as well and was really looking forward to it beforehand, but the result was so disappointing 😭😭 my score prediction was 4-0 😂 which was horribly optimistic in hindsight…

@Acapulco12 It was just disappointing in every way, wasn't it. We had great seats near the front, behind the goal England were constantly attacking in the first half, only for the Iceland defenders to be like a wall of ice along their box that we just couldn't break through. The atmosphere was also flatter than normal, perhaps reflecting the lack of punch on the pitch. People around us were more invested in cheering whenever a paper plane made it onto the pitch! The tiny Iceland contingent were, by contrast, in great voice. Did it feel as flat where you were in the stadium?

Ooh your seats sound fab! I was quite a bit further back, sat between the two goals. I felt like there were lots of attempts to create a good atmosphere , which helped me get into the mood, but it just felt flatter and flatter as it went on :( I gave a big cheer when they said Saka was coming on, probably mainly to convince myself that he would give us an equaliser 🤣 ah well!! I’m really really hoping we do better in the actual Euros matches (we have to!!)

Although judging by the reaction to the Iceland game, Kobbie Mainoo is going to be this years scapegoat if he plays and it goes wrong, so I'm not looking forward to that. Hopefully he won't play, as he's important for us. Sounds terrible, I know, but I'm always in two minds about supporting England considering the hammering our players get.

But strangely enough, it was Saka on all the back pages of woe, even though he didn't play most of the match!

Can't think why they might have chosen him...

I didn't see the Mainoo hate but the Saka hate was very obvious
