I don't know what the hell happened in the 2nd half yesterday. We were embarrassing. Heard on radio Merseyside earlier that Anchelotti and Brands are in talks today. Siggordsson needs gone. I don't want to see his name on the teamsheet again.

DuncinToffee · 07/01/2020 12:34

Agree with you re Sigurdsson and according to reports Ancelotti does too, and he can take Schneiderlin and Walcott with him.

I had to laugh at Arteta's post match interview being interrupted by a forever Everton ringtone Grin

DuncinToffee · 11/01/2020 17:52

Good first half, lovely goal by Richie, second half not so great especially towards the end but we won and kept a clean sheet.

Another bad VAR decision, blatant penalty for the foul on Walcott.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 12/01/2020 15:54

Clean sheet and a home win...lovely!

SproutMuncher · 15/01/2020 14:53

Could Aston Villa come the fuck on and sign a striker - going into two 6 pointers and literally no one to play upfront! At this point just get someone, anyone, as if we lose against Brighton and Watford we will be cut adrift!

DuncinToffee · 15/01/2020 14:58

You can have Oumar Niasse (grin)

SproutMuncher · 15/01/2020 15:45

Frankly I’d take him! Grin

WhiteHartLane · 18/01/2020 19:58

Our 1st 0-0 since Sept 2017. Rare clean sheet kept. Disagree with Jose though, a point was all they deserved.

DuncinToffee · 18/01/2020 20:47

I don't think we deserved more than a draw either in a rather boring game, last on MotD I expect.
But we didn't lose after going behind, progress.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 19/01/2020 16:43

I knew we'd lose when teams around us dropped points as well...typical

toffeeghirlinatwirl · 21/01/2020 21:39

Everton. That. Confused

SproutMuncher · 21/01/2020 21:42

Ah toffeegirl you must be gutted

A rare moment of sheer joy as a Villa fan! Just as happy about wiping that smile off Troy Deeney’s face as I am about the points tbh Grin

DuncinToffee · 21/01/2020 23:05

Everton. That. Indeed.
Ah well Moise Kean scored.

Happy for you SproutMuncher

Swinesinsleepingbags · 22/01/2020 22:35

Let's talk Man Utd, wtf whilst I will never cheer them on it does seem sad what they have become, they have lost what it is to be Man Utd. Although it did take Sir Alex four years to win the league but 600 million on the team!!??

Not sure Spurs deserved the win tonight but enjoyed the Leicester game

SproutMuncher · 23/01/2020 07:55

Thing is with United, their squad is bang average. It’s all very well blaming Ole, but I don’t think the team is underperforming for the players they’ve got. I wouldn’t expect that squad to really do any better.

DuncinToffee · 23/01/2020 08:10

It is the same old story, wrong managers, wrong players and spending too much money on them.

WhiteHartLane · 23/01/2020 09:45

I agree, none of Utd's current squad with the exception of De Gea would get into a top club. Awful scenes though with the fans chanting for Woodward to die ffs.

WhiteHartLane · 26/01/2020 19:27

Get in Shrewsbury. Good game and well earned replay Football

DuncinToffee · 26/01/2020 21:10

Glad for Shrewsbury but it does make our worst performance look even worse.

Crockof · 26/01/2020 21:50

Should have been a Shrewsbury win, what an own goal!

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 26/01/2020 22:20

Was nice yesterday to have a goal scored and not wait for VAR..even though their free kick never was. Made it through...just

DuncinToffee · 29/01/2020 13:23

Great win for the Villans SproutMuncher

Good news for us Blues that Andre Gomes is back in training 💙

SproutMuncher · 29/01/2020 17:17

It was a great win, good to be going to Wembley and hopefully some momentum for the league! I’m far more bothered about Liverpool beating West Ham for us tonight though 🤞🏼

Can’t believe Gomes is back already, that’s brilliant news!

Crockof · 29/01/2020 23:14

My thoughts exactly sproutmuncher not often I cheer on Liverpool.

DuncinToffee · 01/02/2020 18:26

Everton that!
Or rather very unEverton that Grin

Coming back from 2-0 behind and a late winner by one of our worst players away from home. Happy with that ⚽️🔵
