As in previous years, footy fans please sign in with

  1. Which team you support.
  2. Which team(s) you loathe.
  3. How you are getting your kids to follow the correct team.
  4. A thought on this season (Premiership/Championship/Champions’ League/FA Cup/any leagues world wide/fallout from the World Cup.)

Yes Spurs new stadium looks great, very impressive.
I can't wait to see the plans for our new site, Bramley-Moore Dock

The refereeing has been terrible this season and I also hope Cardiff stays up but it is going to be tough.

Oblomov19 · 05/04/2019 07:15

There will be twists and turns, in these final few games. Fact.
There's always some twist: some relegation team beats top 4..... or something. That's why it's so exciting.

Miltonroad · 05/04/2019 07:26

Let hope it’s saints beating Liverpool this evening 😇

HiHoToffee · 06/04/2019 16:51

Saints let us down there Miltonroad

sluj · 06/04/2019 17:00

Wow, why didn't I know this thread existed?
Very excited longtime Wolves fan here.
For obvious reasons I hate West Brom. In recent years I have added Cardiff to that list and could never really get on with Spurs.
DP is Southampton and very nervous. I'm proud to say that both DS's are Wolves though they have been born and bred in the South East.
Nice to meet you all

HiHoToffee · 06/04/2019 17:08

Welcome sluj, good season for Wolves, hope you beat watford tomorrow.

sluj · 06/04/2019 17:14

Thanks HiHo, love your user name.

I have high hopes for tomorrow but Wolves are unpredictable. I'm hoping they see Watford as the stiff competition they are and go for the kill. We usually do well in the so called hard games and disappoint in the supposedly easier games. Whatever happens, I'm proud though Smile

Miltonroad · 06/04/2019 21:41

They played so well 😕 (for a change 😂)

HiHoToffee · 07/04/2019 19:11

Another 'should have scored more' brilliant performance from the boys in blue! I am made up for Jags. Fortress Goodison once again.

Ozil throwing his jacket was funny but what was that all about?

I didn't really want Watford to win but I do have a soft spot for Deulofeu, 'he is magic you know'

sluj · 07/04/2019 19:35

I'm saying nothing Shock

WhiteHartLane · 07/04/2019 19:57

Another good performance and result from Everton. Same again when Utd visit please Grin
Think there was an altercation between the two managers over a mis-timed tackle, maybe Ozil was reacting to that. Strange though.

Enjoyed the semi, would have preferred Wolves to win but well fought back by Watford.

BelfastBloke · 08/04/2019 07:43

I watched the Everton Arsenal game on TV. Prior to the match all the statistics were (of course) about the Premier League era. It said things like, 'Arsenal have scored more goals against Everton than anyone else" or 'Goodison have been the most favourable ground for Arsenal' or something like that.

But that doesn't accord with my memories (screwed as they are by old age and internet distraction). I remember several times needing to play Everton in some tight race, and then failing to do so.

Yesterday wasn't a surprise to me. It felt like deja vu all over again.

Poor Cardiff! Obviously penalty given.. And Mike Dean overruled it. Warnock is going to explode

ImHastingsDarling · 13/04/2019 16:57

Feel sorry for Cardiff, they've had an awful season and they really get the short straw for poor decisions

HiHoToffee · 13/04/2019 17:20

We were awful, a game to forget, normal service resumed.

WhiteHartLane · 13/04/2019 17:24

I didn't see the penalty shout but Dublin and Keown both say it shouldn't have been awarded. I agree that Cardiff haven't had much luck with the officials this season though. Their match against Brighton will be interesting. Win that and they are in with a chance of staying up, Brighton still have to play Wolves, Spurs, Arsenal and City. Hope Cardiff win just to keep it exciting!

HiHoToffee · 13/04/2019 18:09

Leon Osman said it was a penalty and to overturn it was ridiculous. I haven't seen it but trust Ossie Grin

Cardiff really haven't had any luck this season and Warnock got charged for his comments after the Chelsea game so it seems he is playing it rather safe for now.

Oblomov19 · 17/04/2019 20:02

Just about to start Watching Spurs in Champions League. Against Man City.
What will happen? ...........

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 17/04/2019 20:16

Crazy start so far!

HiHoToffee · 17/04/2019 20:21

Just checked the score and saw 2-2 at 19 minutes, exciting game so far I guess?

HiHoToffee · 17/04/2019 20:22
