As in previous years, footy fans please sign in with

  1. Which team you support.
  2. Which team(s) you loathe.
  3. How you are getting your kids to follow the correct team.
  4. A thought on this season (Premiership/Championship/Champions’ League/FA Cup/any leagues world wide/fallout from the World Cup.)

And we're somehow despite being so poor at times in the champions league next season.. Helped by teams also fighting being pretty poor at times as well.

Happy for frankie. Hopefully Derby can go all the way

HiHoToffee · 08/05/2019 07:42

It pains me to say but well done to Liverpool, though Barcelona's defence was shockingly bad Smile

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 08/05/2019 12:18

Pretty much what they done last year against Roma. Just fell apart. Not to take anything from Liverpool cause performance wise wow but barcalona juat went walkies

HiHoToffee · 08/05/2019 15:18

I see that Chelsea lost their transfer ban appeal, I guess that means we won't be able to hold on to Zouma.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 08/05/2019 17:57

Yeah know they're going elsewhere to appeal as when happened to Barcalona and Real etc they had the ban suspended or something while they appealed so use of transfer window.

What doesn't make sense is we're still free to sign players under 16..which is what the ban relates to!

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 08/05/2019 22:02

Blimey

HiHoToffee · 08/05/2019 22:09

Whatever Poch said at half time it clearly worked Shock

My nephew was there and will be heartbroken. But from now it is Come on Spurs!

BelfastBloke · 08/05/2019 22:13

Congrats Liverpool and Spurs

Defiantly especially seeing as looked so likely to out at half time and then wam bam. Cruel right at the end but they have their chances and unfortunately didn't happen. Poor Ajax

HiHoToffee · 08/05/2019 22:21

Just waiting for Arsenal and Chelsea to do same tomorrow.

I didn't see the first half, watched the PL2 cup final between U23 Everton and Newcastle instead, our young toffees won the double, title and cup Football

NotMyPuppy · 08/05/2019 22:22

Ah football, nothing like it

WhiteHartLane · 08/05/2019 22:23

Eeek champions league finalists!! Can't believe it, that last goal!!! - well done Spurs and Liverpool hoping for a cracking final.

Good luck for tomorrow Belfast and Letsgo.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 08/05/2019 22:24

Just want a nice normal win tommorow lol. All will be beautiful and can leave the ground in a good mood.

Awww well done to young toffees.

DieCryHate · 08/05/2019 22:24

Unbelievably chuffed for both Liverpool and Spurs. I don't support a team but do have a soft spot for spurs so think I'll be rooting for them in the final.

Oblomov19 · 09/05/2019 13:32

I thought the Liverpool game was crazy. But last nights Spurs one was even more so.

Oblomov19 · 09/05/2019 13:37

I don't know what is the story re the Chelsea ban for 2 windows, but I don't think that's fair. Spurs fan here, and supposed to hate Chelsea, but seriously how does it do anyone any good banning them from buying for not just 1 window, but 2?!!

Prices for Madrid flights and Madrid hotels has shot up then !! Hmm
Plus loads of corporate tickets, hardly any for Liverpool and spurs fan. So wrong. Why am I surprised?

BelfastBloke · 09/05/2019 17:57

I'm an Arsenal fan who doesn't hate Spurs, but there's no way I want them to win a CL.

All Arsenal fans will be supporting Liverpool.

OP posts:
HiHoToffee · 09/05/2019 18:26

Everton fans will be supporting Spurs.
According to my nephew, Ajax fans will be supporting Liverpool, mostly because of van Dijk and Wijnaldum.

And yes it is once again the fans missing out in favour of (corporate) money.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 09/05/2019 21:02

Oblomov19 something to do with signing of 16 year old players.. Which fair enough they've done wrong. Fact is however barcalona, real Madrid had a ban and were allowed to sign players by FIFA during the appeal which we've been told no to. We can however still sign under 16s...the whole thing doesn't make sense!!!

The allocation is crazy and the prices... Europa League think be about 7,000 odd each side. Less stupid prices but still.

HiHoToffee · 10/05/2019 07:45

Well done to Arsenal and Chelsea, anyone going to Baku?

BelfastBloke · 10/05/2019 08:28

Arsenal sent us an email immediately after the semifinal, saying how expensive it will be to get to Baku, and how few routes there are to get there.

Also, Arsenal and Chelsea have only been allocated 6,000 tickets each. (Arsenal have 45,000 season ticket holders).
Baku Olympic stadium has almost 69,000 seats!

BelfastBloke · 10/05/2019 08:34

Should I be worried about Agent Petr Cech?

Chelsea has offered him a goalie coaching role after he retires.

Will he really save a goal against the club he's going to be employed by at the end of the game?

OP posts:
HiHoToffee · 10/05/2019 08:44

I had to look up where Baku is.
Only 6,000, it really is ridiculous.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 10/05/2019 11:28

Nah probably see it as his last hurrah. Or hopefully not hurrah. Good that he's coming back though don't think ever really wanted to leave but just the way it went

Oblomov19 · 10/05/2019 12:07

6000?
Oh come on. That is shite.
