As in previous years, footy fans please sign in with

  1. Which team you support.
  2. Which team(s) you loathe.
  3. How you are getting your kids to follow the correct team.
  4. A thought on this season (Premiership/Championship/Champions’ League/FA Cup/any leagues world wide/fallout from the World Cup.)

Still happy wolves fan here. The fans are starting to talon about Europe Grin

HiHoToffee · 03/02/2019 11:41

Wolves fully deserved the win, we were awful.

I like how the Goodison cat is making the headlines

WhiteHartLane · 03/02/2019 12:07

No crisis Spurs keep plodding on. Still got 5 of the top 6 to play so very slim chance of top but top 4 should be doable. So happy to have Son back, very underated player.
Wolves have to be favorites for 7th? No other team is playing as consistently.
Hope Everton keep Silva, he will get there.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 03/02/2019 20:07

Happy with the City result.. Though we'll probably lose to them next week and be back to level with Arsenal. Or win and drop points elsewhere..cause that seems to be the way we roll lately.

WhiteHartLane · 05/02/2019 20:53

1-0 Newport and well deserved. Enjoyable game so far.

HiHoToffee · 09/02/2019 19:55

And again an good performance is followed by a poor one, especially the second half, sigh. Sacking Silva is not the solution, we need consistency.

It is hard being an Evertonian Grin

HiHoToffee · 09/02/2019 19:58

And RIP Emiliano Sala and the Flamengo youth players

HiHoToffee · 10/02/2019 18:50

Ouch Chelsea ShockGrin

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 10/02/2019 19:38

And we go again in the final in 2 weeks... Yipeee!

toastonbean · 11/02/2019 09:02

Have you seen the final predicted premier league table ?

They've got Liverpool to win it, I think it'll be City.

And Cardiff, Fulham and Huddersfield to be relegated.
Fulham and Huddersfield are gone but I'm not too sure about Cardiff. They've shown some fighting power recently and I think Southampton are worse than them tbh.

I think City too and yes saints way worse atm but happy if the bottom 3 are as predicted 😂 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️🔴

WhiteHartLane · 11/02/2019 10:27

I would prefer Burnley to go down, however I think it will be between Southampton and Cardiff.

BitOutOfPractice · 11/02/2019 12:43

Erm, well, erm yes!

I would LOVE for us to finish 7th. The stuff of dreams

I have a feeling that Fulham might turn things round. Huddersfield are goners. I hope Cardiff go down (can't stand Warnock) and I think Southampton might run out of luck this season too

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 12/02/2019 21:47

I don't think we Chelsea will finish 4th..

I hope Fulham can turn things around.

MrPan · 19/02/2019 14:01

I'm a bit taken aback by the reaction to the Chelsea defeat. They didn't appear to play THAT badly, esp in 2nd half.
They were simply beaten by a better-performing team on the day. And they did carve out a few chances, though none on target in the second half. Bit of an over reaction??

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 19/02/2019 20:55

Nah. I think the over reaction comes from losing 5 games out the last 10. It's just been building up. I do feel sorry for him in a way but everything's to predictable. Someone said the subs before they were even made. Got them right.

See what happens now. Lose Thursday or Sunday and think that be it.. Unless he mixes up the line up a little!

WhiteHartLane · 24/02/2019 19:33

Wouldn't want to be Kepa right now.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 24/02/2019 21:07

Just what was that?!
Happy to not lose 6-0 but seriously. Complete lack of respect shown and no matter how Sarri is trying to play it down you can't!

WhiteHartLane · 24/02/2019 21:41

Its a shame, Chelsea gave a solid account of themselves all match and its been spoilt by that bollocks at the end. Disappointing for Kepa but no excuse to act like that. Reckon Sari will walk now.

Spurs visiting next. Hoping Poch doesn't pick a fight with the ref this time Blush

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 25/02/2019 12:19

Yeahhhhh can't say expecting much from that...

In a way I get why he was annoyed but Caballero is better at penalties!
Not that we were that great at taking them.

HiHoToffee · 27/02/2019 09:14

I watched that Sarri-Kepa scene, very funny but not something that should happen. But apparently it was just a misunderstanding..
Will Sarri be brave enough to drop him?

More importantly, Everton won Grin
Lots of criticism beforehand on the team selection but Silva got it right.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 01/03/2019 13:37

Turns out dropping him didn't have a effect. Been a while since we beat Spurs or feels like that! That og though... Woops!

WhiteHartLane · 01/03/2019 18:25

Sadly i wasn't suprised when Chelsea won. Spurs always fall short when it matters and Chelsea did play well against City. Will watch the North London derby from behind the sofa tomorrow!

BelfastBloke · 02/03/2019 14:34

Spurs 1-1 Arsenal.
Well, I suppose the BT commentators were right that Arsenal didn't do enough to win the North London derby. If you have a pen, you've got to score it, like Harry Kane did.
But let's just record for posterity:
-Kane shouldn't have had a penalty because he was offside when Mustafi stupidly banged into him
-Vertonghen's amazing block, after Arsenal's penalty, shouldn't have been allowed because he encroached on the area before the pen was taken. That's why he was able to be there so quickly.

I think I am safe to assume I am the happier fan this afternoon @BelfastBloke. After the last 2 defeats I would have taken a point before kick off.

Have to mention Leno's save to deny Sissoko though, one of the best of the season.
