As in previous years, footy fans please sign in with

  1. Which team you support.
  2. Which country you support, or will be supporting in the World Cup.
  3. Which team(s) and/or countries you loathe.
  4. How you are getting your kids to follow the correct team.

This definitely wasn't Ronaldo's day. Failed penalty, yellow card, no goals.

Portugal were lucky to go through.

And part of me felt really sorry for Iran.

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 25/06/2018 21:26

Felt sorry for the guy with the chance at the end.. But theirs was never a penalty so guess balances out? Been chaos had Iran scored that though!

BelfastBloke · 26/06/2018 11:48

Come on Nigeria today! Argentina must win to stay at the World Cup.

Meanwhile Aussie must win against Peru, and need France to beat Denmark.

Argentinan journalist says a witch doctor 'Manuel", who has been helping the team for a decade, has been flown out to Russia as an emergency mission to help the Argies.

Arsenal fans tonight will want to keep an eye on Ever Banega in Argentina's midfield/attack. Apparently he's next in line to be signed by Arsenal. Perhaps he'll be one of the first players to turn up for pre-season, after tonight!

The Arsenal player Iwobi is not starting for Nigeria tonight, either. Which is a bit weird, because before the WC began, it was thought he was their most creative player.

Maybe they're prioritising defence.

Glad for Messi he has been looking miserable and pressured.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 26/06/2018 19:19

Now come on and equalise, Nigeria.

BelfastBloke · 26/06/2018 19:20

How's the Iceland game? Croatia have rested a bunch of players

OP posts:
BelfastBloke · 26/06/2018 19:32

Banega! I really want him at Arsenal now

Iceland is putting Croatia under a lot of pressure and have created a couple of good chances, Croatian goalie made a great save just before the half time whistle.

Danny Murphy is doing my head in.

BelfastBloke · 26/06/2018 20:18

Good moves breaking down, for both sides

ToffeeUp · 26/06/2018 20:36

GYLFI!!! Come on Iceland!

ToffeeUp · 26/06/2018 20:48

Noooooooooooooo

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 26/06/2018 21:01

Tense games! Everyone trying hard, unlike Denmark vs France apparently.

Lweji · 26/06/2018 21:13

The usual suspects are getting through.

Missed the actual games, must go and catch up now.

charlottehatch1 · 27/06/2018 10:16
  1. Liverpool
  2. England
  3. Man U obvs
  4. complete immersion
  5. Ramos should be ashamed of himself

I actually wrote a song about the football in my house at the moment Blush

Annoyingly YouTube won't pay me for it until 10,000 people watch it, so if you've got a min! Hmm

Lweji · 27/06/2018 16:45

Germany?!

CardinalSin · 27/06/2018 16:51

Korea scored!

CardinalSin · 27/06/2018 16:54

Two!

CardinalSin · 27/06/2018 16:55

Neuer is a twat!

Lweji · 27/06/2018 16:56

Bloody hell.
And Korea isn't even going through!

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 27/06/2018 16:59

Auf Wiedersehen Deutschland!

ToffeeUp · 27/06/2018 17:00

Schade Deutschland, alles ist vorbei, alles ist vorbei!

Sung that 30 years ago, and enjoying doing it again GrinGrin

They were bad.
