I'd want to tailor a holiday to limit the travel time and red eye flights, and distance from the airport - the worst holiday for us was when after a 5 hour flight, I had not thought enough about the three hour transfer when we landed - were were the last off the coach and the DC's were soo tired and we were exhausted with the whole experience - do you feel family friendly holidays build this into the package ?

JacCharlton · 13/03/2026 11:05

What can I expect on a flight with a child under 2 - what will the airline have in place to make us both comfortable - I find most plane journeys very cramped and don't want to pay for an extra seat just yet ?

Britanniahouse · 13/03/2026 15:41

I would like a cruise - probably next year, is it best to book early to get a cabin, or wait intil nearer the time when the cabin prices may reduce - I'd want an inner cabin due to the cost, and that way it would mean we would be out and about more, but does a cheaper inner cabin have the capacity for a travel cot, or can you get lower inner deck family cabins.

Dizzywizz · 14/03/2026 14:17

Are there any hotels which also have access to adult/elderly carers? Thanks

Kweenxo · 14/03/2026 17:50

Something for a wide variety of people: so a souq or shopping places nearby, tourist attractions and things for the kids to do. Also something that would cater to a large group of people, around 10-15 people. Ideally somewhere in the Middle East or Africa due to wanting to experience different cultures.

MorphingintoMargo · 14/03/2026 18:36

Ok. This is quite specific. I usually love spending hours googling holidays, but I simply don’t have time atm.
So…
10-14 day holiday end of August or start of sept.
2 adults
AI or half board +
On a beach
A choice of restaurants
Some activities - yoga, biking, kayaking, etc
A spa
Not in the middle of nowhere and ideally less than hour from the airport
Great views
Adult only or small amount of kids - no giant water park hotels
Budget ~ £5k-8k
NOT a cruise

Backatasda · 16/03/2026 14:01

Would I be able to filter my search to find hotels with adjoining rooms for the family and grandparent who would help us in the morning and evening with the children - and best advice for finding one with suitable entertainment for all ages.

Haleyscomets · 16/03/2026 16:01

Hi TUI experts! I’m planning a holiday and want something that works for all ages in my family—toddlers, teens, and grandparents. We’d also love options that cater to special dietary needs and accessibility. Could you recommend the best TUI resorts, cruises, or experiences that would suit our family? Thanks!

hahabahbag · 16/03/2026 16:10

Would be good to be able to filter by whether there are rooms with two separate bedrooms with full sized beds, my dsd is an adult but severe disabilities (ambulatory) so cannot have separate room but needs a full sized bed and some privacy. Very niche but being able to get a photo of the room would be very helpful as has pattern epilepsy (it’s rare) flights aren’t the issue thankfully

maddynorth · 16/03/2026 17:04

Ooh, this is timely… we are four friends looking for a 7 day holiday leaving on 2nd June. 3 of us leaving from Manchester, 1 from Stansted.
We would do all inclusive, but would prefer bed and breakfast with plenty of walkable options nearby for eating and shopping.
We’d like a lovely pool, and would also like to be near the sea if possible. As it’s the beginning of June it needs to be somewhere warm, but not long haul.
Entertainment/activities at the hotel would be a bonus. And, very importantly, we need a room each!
Do you have any suggestions? Thanks! Around £1500 pp max.

ruqiya1965 · 16/03/2026 19:35

What would you recommend for sightseeing + activities for the children including grandchildren?

Kentishbirdlife · 16/03/2026 20:24

When is the best time to book a holiday to get the best deals. We have school aged kids so have to go during school the holidays. Is it best to book early?

ActualAl · 16/03/2026 23:46

Looking for a 7 night, all inclusive package holiday for 2 adults, 2 teenage children. We'd like to go to somewhere within a 4 hour flight of Edinburgh ( preferably not turkey, Cyprus or Greece) and with under 90 mins transfer time. We'd prefer a hotel with daytime, evening entertainment but also one within walking distance to a town that we could go for a walk to visit shops/bars etc if we chose. Our budget is £4500, looking to go in July.

Anna20MFG · 20/03/2026 00:16

Looking for a mid July break for 3 teens one parent. Would love a beach, pool, also somewhere local outside a resort to explore. Would love luxury feel on a budget :) Stansted departure if possible but can make anywhere work for the right place.

sharond101 · 20/03/2026 18:34

How do I navigate separate rooms for teens? Want to give everyone their own space but need them close as well.

KW33 · 22/03/2026 19:28

Looking to go away during the Summer break with myself and 3 children, 4,5 and 13. Originally it was to Turkey but I have decided against that now. Can you suggest anywhere reasonable priced to go during the holidays other than Spain, Turkey,France and Portugal.

Theimpossiblegirl · 22/03/2026 20:15

2 adults, 10th August for 1 week. We like exploring, snorkeling, history and relaxing by the pool. Thinking Malta but open to ideas. We'll have already been away with the kids so this one is just for us.
Bristol flights please.

Belle60 · 22/03/2026 22:14

I am looking for first solo holiday.
I am 66 and am fairly shy
I don't want to feel like a fish out of water. Not too long a flight

Thanks

FancyBiscuitsLevel · 23/03/2026 07:30

Oh I’ve got one- teens who are large enough to need a proper bed, not a sofa bed/cot. So where on the med do you have proper beds in family rooms /interconnecting rooms or can we book two rooms next to each other? It’s really hard to find this on your website, so many want to put the kids on a sofa bed.

FancyBiscuitsLevel · 23/03/2026 07:32

Other than that, I’ve got two kids who loved learning to surf last year in Cornwall, but I’d like more sunshine. Surfing in European sun- possibly Portugal? For two adults, two children, children can not be on sofa beds.

MayCottage · 23/03/2026 11:16

I’m planning a holiday for a mixed group (2 adults, 2 kids aged 6 and 13, plus grandparents). We’d love somewhere with great kids’ activities, relaxing options for older adults, and easy access from the UK. Ideally all-inclusive and not too crowded. What destinations or TUI resorts would you recommend?

Alip1965 · 24/03/2026 16:37

Beat gluten free holiday suggestions plz

saffysabir · 24/03/2026 22:16

Looking for couples only, doesn't have to be all-inclusive but that's an option. Weekend only and not too costly. In terms of location, somewhere that has a lot of history and also fun activities and outside of Europe.

salemaxo · 26/03/2026 20:25

Do you just cater to luxury type holidays as in the expensive types or do you have anything that's budget friendly, especially for a family of 4?

alshareif · 26/03/2026 23:46

Any relaxing holiday on a budget for the summer. I know the summer is more pricey but anything that would allow us to just relax and let go. In terms of numbers, 2 adults, 1 toddler.
