I’m a woman of habit and my winter uniform is basically one of my two black cashmere Uniqlo roll necks with a long bias cut skirt for work, or with a mini and tights or baggy jeans at wkends. I did manage to nab the first one in the sale but happily paid full price for the second as I literally live in them.

I’ve been a heattech devotee for years because it’s perfect for layering without being bulky, and I find it washes and lasts so well. I also love the wide leg trousers for work, and it’s great you can get a longer length online too. I’m coveting a puffer jacket this year

Mangetoutmangetouti · 24/10/2025 07:56

I love Uniqlo hybrid down coats and have been wearing them for years. Men’s, women’s, unisex, all fab.
Nothing else compares in the wet and cold weather, especially when walking the dog but smart enough to wear everywhere else too

LittleDeeAndME · 24/10/2025 10:18

I love my thermal leggings - I can always keep warm with my down coat, wool hat and gloves - just my legs seem to be freezing
https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/products/E469836-000/00?colorDisplayCode=09&sizeDisplayCode=003
are a must have !

wherewillwegoto · 24/10/2025 10:23

I think I need the thermal leggings. I haven't tried anything from uniqlo yet but they look perfect for winter.

ohdannyboy · 24/10/2025 10:24

My long down filled coat - it cost a fortune years ago and no wind gets through and I am always toasty warm - especially on the touchline on Sunday mornings, it is looking a little tired - so If I am a lucky winner I'd use the voucher for this

benjaminjamesandgraham · 24/10/2025 10:53

My thermals - tights and vest- I have 5 sets in different colours - they are a winter lifesaver - yes I still feel the chill - but don't feel cold - and am outdoors a LOT.

littlecottonbud · 24/10/2025 11:01

A jumper made from wool, and layers below that, and thermal leggings for when I am out and about. This cashmere blend turtleneck is something I would add to my winter wardrobe this year

A warm long sleeved top (I have a couple of the Heattech ones and they're brilliant) with a thin wool jumper are my staples for winter.

MonQuixote · 24/10/2025 14:15

Love the UNIQULO basics and winter tech clothing, its a gamechanger!

Runningshorts · 24/10/2025 17:20

I like simple styles so would choose the turtlenecks in different wintery colours

Hodgeheggery · 24/10/2025 18:20

I love the souffle yarn jumpers, I've got three colours and they look brilliant with jeans. They've washed really well and have become my autumn uniform!

MyIvyGrows · 25/10/2025 04:57

I’ve not purchased any heattech items yet but I’m going to this winter. I love my Uniqlo jumpers though - wool v-necks are perfect with jeans or for work, and this year I’ve gone for a couple of these too https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/products/E480155-000/00?colorDisplayCode=69&sizeDisplayCode=003

springintoaction2 · 25/10/2025 05:29

Definitely like the look of the cashmere jumpers! I would love to have a look round a Uniqlo store.

Dizzywizz · 25/10/2025 06:08

Definitely this https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/products/E460354-000/00?colorDisplayCode=00&sizeDisplayCode=003 - both simple and elegant

As someone working full-on as a nursery worker and spending my evenings out walking the dogs, the winter wardrobe has to tick all the boxes: weather-proof, comfortable, practical — and still feel good. One item I simply cannot live without this season is the Uniqlo Blocktech 3D Cut Parka.
Here’s why it’s become my go-to:

  • Weather ready: On those early preschool drop-offs and bracing dog walks in the dark, I need something that keeps the wind and drizzle out. The Blocktech fabric is built for just that.
  • Hands-free flexibility: My job means moving around a lot — kneeling, lifting, organising — and walking the dogs means leash, torch, maybe treats. The 3D cut gives me freedom of movement without feeling restricted.
  • Warm but not bulky: I want warmth, but I also need to stay active and alert. This parka layers well and doesn’t feel like I’m wearing a duvet.
  • Style and longevity: Just because I plan for practicality doesn’t mean I want to look like I’m in full outdoor gear. UNIQLO’s LifeWear philosophy means this coat works for work, for the school run, for the dog walk — versatile and built to last.
  • Smart investment: With my active routine, I don’t want to be replacing coats every winter — this one feels like a staple I’ll reach for year-after-year.

At 36, as a mum balancing work and school runs, I rely on UNIQLO's versatile pieces to keep me stylish and comfortable. Their Extra Fine Merino Wool V-Neck Sweater offers a polished look that's both breathable and warm, perfect for layering during chilly mornings. Pairing it with Smart Ankle Trousers provides a sleek silhouette that's both professional and practical. For unpredictable weather, the BlockTech Parka is a lightweight yet protective outer layer. Completing the ensemble with Ultra Stretch Jeans ensures flexibility and comfort, whether I'm in a meeting or chasing after the kids. These items make dressing for both work and family life effortless.

2. Seamless Down Parka
For those cold morning school runs or weekend outings, the Seamless Down Parka is a my must-have. Its sleek design offers enhanced protection against wind and rain, making it both functional and fashionable. Lightweight yet warm, it's perfect for layering over the HEATTECH pieces.

Beach11 · 25/10/2025 08:27

My go to’s for the colder days are you the tights and camisoles. They allow me to layer up for work days and days off.
I'm looking to invest in the merino wool jumpers this year.

Montydoo · 25/10/2025 08:55

Layers, thermals, and a wool jumper.
Anything down filled is good to go for winter so if I am lucky with this I'll buy https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/products/E470077-000/00?colorDisplayCode=69&sizeDisplayCode=004

SliceofTosst · 25/10/2025 09:11

I love my gilet. Had it for years and keep it in the office for extra chilly days. Need one for home and under my coat for walks.

https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/products/E478573-000/00?colorDisplayCode=67&sizeDisplayCode=003

Folds up tiny too if you get too toasty.

Blanketenvy · 25/10/2025 09:17

Can't live without heattech scoop neck long sleeve t-shirts. I really struggle with the cold. I really want to get one of the cashmere tops this year and some tights as well.
