I love the Heat Tech layers, both tops and leggings. So versatile and great for keeping me warm without compromising my style. Until perimenopause hit.

Now I'm a fan of the slim puffer jacket, which can also be worn layered with other jackets or coats. A bit easier to add or remove as an additional layer rather than base layers and leggings! https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/products/E479751-000/00?colorDisplayCode=09&sizeDisplayCode=003 Wearing it on its own now, but will definitely layer it under other coats later in the cold season.

And always, a Uniqlo bag. Small half moon shaped ones, perfectly sized bum bag for dog walks, big slouchy oversized ones, puffy ones to hold all my gym kit... I have a lot of Uniqlo bags :)

There are an awful lot of AI answers here!

I’m going to cheat a bit from what you’ve asked and hope that people who work at Uniqlo will read these comments!

I love your scoop neck heat tech tops. They are perfect for putting under thin fitted jumpers and shirts for work in winter, 2 days a week I’m in a super cold office but I still need to look smart and it just allows me to be as warm as wearing a chunky knit while wearing something fine and smarter.

what I’d really love is either a 3/4 length or t-shirt length sleeve option so I can wear them under 3/4 length jumpers. (And yes you have vest options, but then I have to wash the jumper and the heat tech top after each wear and I don’t like washing knit wear constantly.)

please make these and I shall buy them.

I chose jumper junkie but that requires a good quality thermal long sleeve underneath such as HEATTECH Extra Warm Cashmere Blend Crew Neck T-Shirt Women's HEATTECH Extra Warm Cashmere Blend Crew Neck T-Shirt | UNIQLO UK

Thermals! I work outdoors and if it’s zero degrees (or below), my must haves are: thermal vest and leggings, woolen hat, wool socks (with sheepskin insoles in my boots) and a big insulated coat.

We’re fans of Uniqlo in my house and I’ve got the cashmere base layer on my list for the next time I’m near a store.

Hopeishere52 · 25/10/2025 19:56

love these jackets, cosy warm and great choice of colours

Now that I am living in a country with Uniqlo, I am loving the thin but warm merino wool jumpers, my down puffy long coat and cashmere hat, all at very reasonable prices.

I am someone who does thin layers and like a good round necked jumper in bold colours under my jacket over plain trousers in winter, to replace my 3/4 sleeve boat necked tops of the summer, for work.

But I need to work on my casual wardrobe.

Yamamm · 25/10/2025 20:05

One of my favourite stores for basics. I have one of their heattech scoop neck tops that’s over 15 years old and worn every winter.

It’s a ‘build a wardrobe of basics’ place. Plain and good value separates. My standard work outfit is pull on trousers/ scoop neck top/ cardigan/loafers. Usually from Uniqlo!

AFingerofFudge · 25/10/2025 20:13

The thin merino wool jumpers are brilliant underneath another oversized jumper and are also great on their own when it warms up!

MerlinsButler · 25/10/2025 22:40

For me it’s the cashmere sweaters. Super versatile and great for working from him and keeping warm.

MrSpocksWife · 26/10/2025 06:30

Jeans and insulated boots, with tights underneath - I hate having cold feet - so as long as I have good quality boots I am good to go.
Obvs a warm padded cost and always a bobble hat !
Love this on off white https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/products/E478303-000/00?colorDisplayCode=01

ingkir · 26/10/2025 07:32

This year I will be living in Uniqlo's flannel boxy shirts. Soft, warm, comfy, and the perfect shape to wear with barrel leg jeans:

I am also obsessed with heattech socks. These Fair Isle ones are lovely and so warm:

I go a lot of walking for charity reasons so get very cold in the winter, I’ve found over the years that fleece lined leggings are perfect for freezing weather.

i don’t have a lot of disposable income (growing teens need clothes more than I do) so only get them from primark but they’ve lasted amazingly well and have been more than worth the cost.

Holly247 · 26/10/2025 12:13

Wool socks, HEATTECH base layers, and a coat that feels like a duvet but looks like I made an effort — those are my holy trinity. I swear by UNIQLO’s Ultra Light Down for layering under smarter coats, and their HEATTECH turtlenecks are my go-to for everything from dog walks to dashing out for milk.

Also: fleece-lined leggings. Game changer. I pair them with oversized knits and ankle boots for a look that says “cosy but capable.”

Bonus tip: I keep a pair of touchscreen gloves in every coat pocket — no more freezing fingers while checking bus times or replying to texts!

roalddahl · 26/10/2025 12:53

These HEATTECH Easy Trousers are currently reduced and look great for lunchtime wfh walks on wet cold days https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/products/E481270-000/00?colorDisplayCode=69&sizeDisplayCode=003

JacknDiane · 26/10/2025 12:57

I tried the uniqlo heatech leggings and they were great, im short so I turned them up a bit or tucked them into my socks.
In fact I wonder if uniqlo do heatech socks too?!?

I love the Heattech tops with a merino wool jumper. All about the layers!

Jijithecat · 26/10/2025 18:11

I love the souffle yarn cardigans. I have the dark grey and the beige and am tempted to buy another.
They're warm, versatile and super soft. Be warned though, you might find a lot of people stroking your arm!

mcmuffin22 · 26/10/2025 19:29

I would love a puffertech or a short down parka for winter walks with my daschund. Both would be perfect

gerispringer · 27/10/2025 06:12

The fair isle socks I bought last year are brilliant,I hope they do them again. I’m going to get the heat tech cashmere blend turtlenecks this year.

RobinTheCavewoman · 27/10/2025 06:25

All the thermals, fluffy socks (wfh) and this souffle yarn top https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/products/E480490-000/00?colorDisplayCode=01&sizeDisplayCode=003----
