NOW CLOSED

With a school half term in our midst, you may be thinking about the ways you can keep your children occupied and active. Arla BIG Milk would like to hear about the Big Adventures you have planned or have been on this October half term.

Here’s what Arla Big Milk has to say: “We know how important it is to get your little explorers out in the world around them, so we’ve partnered with Magic Light to bring you yearlong BIG Adventures. From Gruffalo nature trail walks to BIG Adventures craft videos, there’s lots for you and your little one to get involved in. We’re also running an on pack monthly prize draw, available across UK grocery retailers, to give you the chance to win an amazing trip to Chessington World of Adventures. Arla Big Milk is simply fresh whole milk that’s enriched with essential nutrients so if you want to join in on the adventure, come visit our site to explore activities for your half term.”

What days out do you have planned for the half term? Do you have a trip to a theme or adventure park pencilled in? Perhaps you have plans to explore the great outdoors with your children? If you’ve already been on adventures this half term, what did you get up to?

Whatever your half term plans, post them below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

We are taking it slow here, after a busy first term at school! Lots of autumn walks and bike rides, a couple of beach trips and play dates. Enjoying our time together before DC goes back to school!

LeeR1985 · 21/10/2018 11:51

If the weather is nice enough, we'll make a few trips to the park. We're also planning on heading to the local swimming center and maybe a soft play area too :)

iut044 · 21/10/2018 12:12

Going to cinema and out to the park.

ashde · 21/10/2018 12:15

I have to work part-time so I plan for my children to get together with friends. At weekends we have family time.

foxessocks · 21/10/2018 12:51

We will be taking it easy and having a few days at home chilling out, a trip to the library and maybe a day out somewhere for a little Halloween related activity or something.

Capaill1 · 21/10/2018 12:52

Trip to Tayto Park in Ireland. Grin

lizd31 · 21/10/2018 12:55

I won't be seeing my family at half term, I'll have to wait till Christmas but if I was able I'd take them to WhitePost Country Farm to see all the animals

deano777 · 21/10/2018 13:36

Walks, board games, films and a Halloween party!

lori6290 · 21/10/2018 13:52

Unfortunately, I will be working quite abit as I work on a holiday park so will be super busy then! Looking forward to it closing in November for the winter, don't care if I'll be skint!! Lol!
The precious time I do have with my little man over the half term will be spent walking in the forest, my boy loves collecting leaves and sticks :p hopefully catch a film at the cinema, the new Jack Black movie looks awesome! Some Halloween crafts to decorate the house and pumpkin carving will definitely be on the cards too!

Oh half term.... it honestly feels like the kids have only just gone back!
We don't have many plans at all, hoping that the little fellow will tolerate a few cosy, quiet days at home. If the weather's alright we'll spend lots of time exploring the bike on his bike, and looking at the signs of autumn :)
Then we're having a long weekend away with family at the end of the week, so that'll be a lovely treat for all of us.

Then it's the countdown to Christmas!

chris8888 · 21/10/2018 14:30

Honestly? taxi service, dropping off and picking up (also paying for) loads of stuff he wants to do in the afternoons, because he is glued to his bed until 1pm because during holidays he is allowed to stay up for as long as he likes!

tylerx45 · 21/10/2018 15:20
