This thread is now closed

Entering parenthood can be overwhelming, to say the very least. And while just about everyone and their uncle will have an opinion on what’s best for your baby, there’s nobody as in the know as Mumsnetters. That’s why Lidl would love you to share your favourite products from their new and improved baby range, Lupilu, just in time for their upcoming Maternity and Baby Wear Week, which kicks off in store on 10 June.

Here’s what Lidl have to say: “Whether it's your first or your fifth, having a baby is a wonderful, exciting and slightly nerve-wracking adventure. Lupilu is our award-winning baby range. We’re proud to offer all the essentials to follow you and your little one through their early years, including nappies in a range of sizes and nutritious meals, snacks and purées for each stage of the weaning process.”

Take a look at their baby range here and tell us which are your favourite Lupilu products and why. Maybe Lidl’s baby wipes have you seen you through many an ahem… sticky situation; their baby shampoo is the only thing that doesn’t irritate your little one’s skin, or their organic carrot sticks are your throw-in-your-handbag-and-keep-everyone-happy snacking saviour.

Whether you’re a Lupilu newbie or a long-time lover of Lidl’s baby range, post your top finds on the thread below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win £100 worth of Lidl vouchers (note the winner will be sent 4 x £25 vouchers, one voucher can be redeemed per transaction).

Thanks and good luck!

The nappy pants, better than pampers.

purplepandas · 09/06/2018 08:24

I liked the nappy pants too.

TellMeItsNotTrue · 09/06/2018 12:35

The wipes are really handy, I don't know what I did before I started using wipes but now I seem to use them for everything Grin when I use one I look around to see what else I can use it for before discarding it (e.g. wipe child's face, fold in half the wipe down the table)

WilmaJean · 09/06/2018 12:47

My little one loves the lupilu carrot sticks! And we're also big fans of the nappies for their design and price!

UpOnDown · 09/06/2018 14:28

Definitely the wipes

TweetleBeetlesBattle · 09/06/2018 17:51

The wipes were really good value.

Miladamermalada · 09/06/2018 18:39

The nappies are amazing and soft, my nearly 2 yo loves them, they are pretty to look at as well.

PashleyB · 09/06/2018 20:28

We have found the pull ups to be good

Persephone31 · 09/06/2018 21:12

The wipes are excellent value

StickChildNumberTwo · 09/06/2018 22:30

We don't have a Lidl close enough to us to have tried many of their baby things, but food pouches were a life saver when my wee one wouldn't eat, and I was always after new varieties so would have tried the Lupilu ones if I'd had easy access.

joggingrunning · 10/06/2018 00:40

I like the Lupilu cotton safety buds as they are gentle and delicate. Also they contain no plastics which is good for the environment.

RedPandaMama · 10/06/2018 08:10

Love Lidl nappies, have used them since day one with DD and no others compare. Have also tried Aldi and Pampers when given them as gifts by family - Aldi are rough and leak and Pampers gave DD appalling nappy rash which we're still trying to get rid of a month later Sad

She also loves the carrot crispy puffs and the food pouches - any flavour, she isn't fussy!

RedPandaMama · 10/06/2018 08:11

Ooh yes also the 4 pack of wipes is fantastic and great value.

Sleepysausage · 10/06/2018 08:11

Nappy bags! They are etje perfect size for all our bins upstairs, for picking up cat poo, using as a bin in the car, and for putting smelly nappies.

Mandie · 10/06/2018 08:24

Aldi all the way, never change my mind on that one. Better value and better quality.

GunslingerPie · 10/06/2018 12:47

Still buy the wipes in bulk now, and DS is almost 5! They are so cheap I use them for everything; make-up removal, sprucing scuffed trainers up, spillages.
I even keep a pack in the car.
They’re the only wipes I buy!

EssentialHummus · 10/06/2018 17:38

The clothes! Amazing value for the price. My abiding memory of early labour was frustration that there was a baby event starting the next morning, and that I might miss it. DD lives in the organic wrap tops, much less fuss as they don't need to go over her head and lovely neutral colours.

Nappies, definitely. So cheap and effective.

4GreenApples · 10/06/2018 21:53

I love the pull ups (or baby pants as Lidl call them).
We used to use Pampers pull ups, but the Lidl ones are just as good and much cheaper.

Enigma222 · 11/06/2018 04:24

Your nappies are great with no leakage and at a good value too. Other brands aren’t as good and expensive too!

Ratbagratty · 11/06/2018 11:19

Nappies have been good for my two.

misskatamari · 11/06/2018 13:06

The nappies are brilliant! Especially the pull-ups. They really are the best I've found. So absorbent, lovely and soft, and great stretch making them easy to get on and off.

GrumpySusan · 11/06/2018 13:51

Have to agree the nappies are brill. Soft, lightweight and no leaks! The wipes are good too and as pp said come out one at a time and not too wet (like sainsbury) or dry (pampers). The apple and pear pots are good and once eaten, the washed pots make a perfect porridge bowl! The apple and banana puree is great for a pudding or porridge too. More variation in the meals would be good (dd is dairy free and there's cheese in all but one at my lidl).

Goingovertosusanshouse · 11/06/2018 13:52

Love the wipes and the pull ups.
