I know I feel as though they just don’t want people ringing so say the longest it could possibly take

I hope it actually doesn’t take that long and they’re just saying that to avoid people calling

I am 28 weeks this week and still waiting my MR

I can’t believe you’re still waiting! Not fair at all! Have they marked yours as urgent or is it with a DM who is taking their time making a decision?
im 25weeks Wednesday but must be looking at a few more weeks 😩

Yeah twice last week. Thought I’d leave it today. They have been lovely each time I’ve rang to be fair, and i actually don’t want them to rush the decision. Have you rang again?

So say it’s with a decision maker but has been for nearly 2 weeks
I rang today and they said they will ask for them to give me a call within 48 hours
so just wait and see
I am so polite on the phone as I do not want them to rush but really want to tell them what a piss take they are lol

Yeah I get that, I wouldn’t want to complain incase they decline, although it shouldn’t be like that!

Hi all does a mr start when you ring up and they take details or when they receive the letter and evidence thanks x

Im guessing it’s the same as coc, so it will be backdated to when you called but you will still get a scan date which is when the weeks waiting starts

Scan date 24/01, just rang and the lady said it won’t even go to a decision maker until end of July when it’s been 25 weeks :(

No 20/1 and was told up to 25 weeks, then at least 25 weeks,

and my fav was when I asked why the letters say 15 weeks, hung up on…

tempted to ring again.. but not expecting any change or help.

MR 31/12, 20 weeks tomorrow, called today to change bank details and told not with a DM and plenty of time to submit more evidence.

MR date is from when you ring up
but if decision is over turned it is back dated to original scan date

So it's our turn nc sd of the 14/01 i rang today to check they had received my extra evidence thay I sent on last week. I was told it hadn't been received but decision had been made. I was put through to a different team to be told decision made 8/05 hrc and lrm and backpayment pending. I hope this helps others get an idea. I called last Tuesday to say I was sending extra evidence and it hadn't even been sent to a dm then.

This gives me hope!

Hi guys! I found out my son got awarded last week and need to update UC, when I’m trying to update the change it says what day did the change happen, now do I put the date my claim was backdated from which was December, or when they awarded it being may?

Nc scan date 10 th Jan just had money in bank. Not sure what rate tho

New claim scan date was 13/1 not sure on rates yet but was paid last night 🌸

Called on 02-05 and they said claims are taking 25 weeks and to wait another 10 weeks!

Uc does anyone know what happens after they put verified changes on journal after reporting getting dla also how long people waiting for carers to come tho thank you🙂
