(just typed this all out and lost it, so excuse the way i type this out again now.)

School play today, Lottie was as heep. \
When the other sheep moved anywhere from their position at the side of the stage Lottie was picked up by a teacher, carried off and taken to sit with the teachers, tather than just be left, happy, with the other kids standing or sat at the side of the stage.

It took every ounce of self control to stop myself from rushing the teacher and grappling Lottie off her and putting her with all the other kids. I was fuming and gutted.

I had a word today, I will have more (with the 700 pound cheque in my hand for the next term) and I have spoken to Portage who are in ther on Tuesday.

I feel like they killing her with kindness. It broke my heart today that they didn't just leave her alone to be with the other kids. She was fine, they didn't need to single her out.

OWWWWWWWWWW. Ow, ow, ow.

Well they have a chance to rectify this, hopefully we can make them see what they are doing wrong and ohh, ......................

sorry lost the will to type.

Coppertop, that is so, so amazing that they did this Grin. I'm not surprised you felt all emotional. Such empathy is rare. Really brilliant. LOL Jess at aeroplanes!

That's brilliant Coppertop, so pleased.

Portage went in today and said that she thinks they are doing great, a few things she has suggested they do and obviuos they need some guidance in some areas but basically happy. She said Lottie was obviuosly a very popular little girl with her peers and saw some lovley interaction and it was generally just all good.

So pleased, so relieved. Panic over.

Now why does it not surprise me that Lottie is a popular little girl? :o

So glad that it all turned out well in the end, TC. :)

Really glad that their reason was Lottie's safety and glad that they've given her a chair with box now to stop this happening again- just a shame they didn't have time to forewarn you to stop you feeling crap all weekend

Why am I sitting here almost crying over Coppertop's Little Sheep and some carpet tiles???!! :) Oh dear.. clearly losing the plot completely. Don't these little thoughts from others.. unexpectedly like that, mean the world though??!

DS (Alex aka The Angelic Aeroplane) is back at school today. Firts performance of play this PM altho we won't be there. Am envisaging scenes like in Parenthood (remember the Nativty play at the end with Justin??! Grin).. and with Alex pulling chunks of scenery down as he is pushing along in his wheelchair!! LOL!

Jess xx

Didnt want to nick someone elses thread but.....

We took J out of school because his needs were not being met....

R our oldest is doing his christmas concert next week....school have refused J acess to see the school play because the schools policy is two tickets per family and no under 11's!!!!!

J really wants to see the play and the only way school will allow him to do this is if he goes to school for the day next wednesday and watches with all the other kids!!!!

He is refusing point blank to do that because he doesnt want to go back to his old class for the day...I asked if I could stay with him....got the answer I expected....NO!!!!!!!
Angrybeyond words!!!!!!

Am pleased when the oriinal thread takes off and others join in, esp if it's all relevant to the original message, that's what mumsnet is about, it isn't MY thread. It's just one I started. Glad and happy to read about everyone's else school plays Smile
