Hello marmite!

It's funny (and good) the changes we make. The long weekend would normally have been quite a boozy affair, probably with takeaways, loads of crisps & snacks, cheese & biscuits.

Now it's only having a properly measured couple of drinks tomorrow night, lots of really tasty healthy food. And you know what? I really enjoy it.

Humm, resolve definitely starting to slip over here! Had a blt sandwich for lunch as no jacket spuds at the cafe we went to. Cheeky handful of chips on the beach, a few crisps with a drink. Blush

Having a SW meal tonight of SW chips, salad, burgers. Should be good!

We have the rest of this week off groovee.

What ice lollies do you recommend? I like the fruit pastille ones, they are 3 syns.

Report
Groovee · 22/04/2019 14:00

Twister lollies are 2 syns and I got rowntrees fruit blasters which are 2.5 syns. They do just the job.

Had to drive Dd to placement as Scotrail cancelled her train. I'm impressed I did a round trip in 35 minutes.

Ooh I love twisters! Good tip, thanks.

I tried the Muller light Greek style pink grapefruit yoghurts tonight. Half a syn each, really nice.

Have now caught up with game of thrones, can't believe we've got to wait a whole week for the next episode!! Shock

I need help. I'm caught in this loop where I get weighed (have stayed the same last two weeks) and then just eat what I please for a few days in ridiculous amounts. Going nowhere fast. Need to get out of this crap eating cycle.

Easter weekend was a total washout of alcohol and food. Feel like such a fraud.

I've drawn a line under it, not going to dwell, and back on it today. Going to do a few SP days before WI on Thursday.

Weigh in tonight. Face the music of my comfort eating after last week.

After an excellent first week I lost the plot on Easter Sunday and carried on eating the chocolate (which I had asked family not to buy for me in the first place) all day yesterday. I've skipped weigh in and am trying to pull it all back by next weigh in (online member).

Perhaps was a little foolish to think I could start SW again just before Easter !

I am rejoining SW tonight after 3 months not attending group and I reckon 10lbs over target.

It has been a hard 3 months. I have been diagnosed with coeliac disease and I am constantly hungry. My mum has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. She lives 2.5 hrs away. Sticking to plan and attending group has been low down my priority list.

However, I need to get back in a routine and look after myself to be there for the family. DD is about to take A levels.

I suppose it gives me a week to get my holiday weight off!!

Well done Groovee.

I've had a great two days. Hoping that's me with my head back in it. I've started a new job so will miss my regular weigh in occasionally. Consultant has put me down as shift worker, but I might try go to a different morning group if I can.

I was really good last week but then I ended up going off plan for tea on Easter and then ate my body weight in chocolate. Managed to loose 1/2lb!! Trying to do Sp this week I'm on my 2nd day off it and it's gone really well. Watch me gain! 😂 off plan loads and managed to loose but min I try to boost my loss i gain. I hope not! 5.5lb away from target now. So exciting.

Well done five!

What's happened to the weather?! I've spent a bit of time sorting out the children's wardrobes and given 3 bags of stuff to the charity shop. My wardrobe however is bursting with stuff yet I wear the same few items over and over again! Could really do with a day to go through everything and chuck probably half of it.

Have you guys all got rid of everything that is now too big or do you hang on to stuff?

Also attempting to potty train the baby here. She wants to wear pants but we've had quite a few puddles!!

Thanks Owl! For me I couldn't wait to get rid of stuff. My consultant said to keep my biggest trousers but I just couldn't I hated them so long gone in bin! My other clothes I've given to my mum is around similar size I was. My partner told me to not spend too much on clothes whilst I'm still loosing so I've pretty much been buying sale clothing / primark clothes and bras are just the £4 ones from George. I have saved some of my nicer clothes that are size 14's but anything above I've given away.

Stayed the same, pleased with that as I overdid it at the weekend. Hoping to have a loss next week, definitely back in the zone. No cheating for me today.
