I.5lb off last night. That makes me 9lb down.

Another 1.5lb off this week, 20lb altogether. Fingers tightly crossed for stone & a half award this weekend. I'm off on hols on Monday so flip knows how much I'll put on (all inclusive).

FiveNightsAtMummys · 17/07/2019 19:37

Another half a pound off. Totally off plan today all day. Go on holiday soon so next weigh on will deffo be a gain! 7lb under new target now so it'll he fine.

Groovee · 17/07/2019 22:13

Good day food wise.

I definitely feel much better for all my eating normally again.

I just invented a great Syn-Free dinner, if anyone wants to copy it!

Smoked Salmon Carbonara

Put a vat of pasta on to boil.

Fry a handful of frozen peas, some smoked salmon cut into strips and some garlic in frylight until the peas are just thawed.

When the pasta is cooked, drain it and stir through two beaten eggs, a tiny bit of pasta water, your Healthy A allowance of grated Parmesan, the pea and salmon mixture and some freshly ground black pepper.

The heat from the pasta cooks the egg and cheese into a silky sauce.

It was lovely!

Half a pound off on weds so I’m at 8.5lb off in total in 7 weeks with 1.5 stone to go til target. Need to up my game, weekends and exercise are my Achilles heel.

JaceLancs · 20/07/2019 22:46

I put on 1 this week so not too happy - lost 3.5 week before - am still not back to my lowest yet (holidays always throw me back n takes ages to lose it again)
Really trying hard food wise this week but struggling with alcohol - although am measuring and trying to stay in sun limits

Groovee · 21/07/2019 15:45

Been up to the SW golden bus. A bit of a waste of time. Apart from meeting my consultant from 2005 which was lovely x

Another 1lb off, which takes me to 10lb so far.

I’m happy with that as I haven’t had the best week and was really expecting to gain or maintain.

I’m happy it’s coming off slowly. The way of eating feels permanent and hopefully so will the weight loss.

How’s everyone else doing?

Groovee · 22/07/2019 18:16

Well done @Pinkarsedfly

I've had a good week but as my period has appeared it wouldn't surprise me if I have to pay. 🤬

Loving my instant pot though.

Weigh in tonight and it's really hot. Will be a swollen mess by tea time.

Groovee · 23/07/2019 20:52

Bah only lost 1lb. Hopefully a better loss next week as I had to do the walk of shame and pay.

My first maintain and it feels pretty shit, really wanted to get 1.5 off then aim
For 2x 2lb losses to get to club 10. Really feel like I stuck in this week, at least 15k steps per week, no more than 10 syns per day, I don’t get it!

Not interested in doing the s p thing as I don’t think that’s what I signed up for as it’s not sustainable long term but maybe I will have to.

Any tips?! Really want to make up for lost time next week. Absolute ideal would be circa 3lbs but I guess that’s pie in the sky.

YorkshireGoldFanClub · 24/07/2019 18:58

15k steps per day

Groovee · 24/07/2019 22:07

Do you have the same syns daily @YorkshireGoldFanClub? I found having different ones daily really helped.

OP posts:
YorkshireGoldFanClub · 25/07/2019 09:16

@Groovee when you say the same syns, do you mean different actual food or a different number of syns? if you mean food, I guess is is more or less the same, I save syn consumption until after my evening meal and I will have a 10 cal jelly, some oreo thins and a pink and white wafer mallow thingy (can you tell I have a sweet tooth?!) any variations will involve either a mini milk lolly or hi fi bar but i never ever have savoury except on sunday when I use 3 syns for 2 potato waffles.

Groovee · 25/07/2019 09:41

See I change mine daily as I noticed when I only used 7 I wasn't losing. I try to have a variety of different things like chocolate rice cakes, party rings, different kinds of crisps. Other days I'll have a cake in the day and save my HE's for night time. I definitely find moving things about food wise etc gives a help and upping my water.

OP posts:
JaceLancs · 25/07/2019 22:20

I lost 2 this week but was hoping for more - I’m quite bloated with the heat so that might not have helped

Pinkarsedfly · 28/07/2019 23:09

I’ve had a rubbish week. I’m cross with myself and dreading weigh in tomorrow.

I just ate half a packet of Oreos in the last ten minutes of the day. I didn’t even want them.

Gutted.

Groovee · 30/07/2019 00:52

Urgh weigh in day. No clue as to how I have done this week as always.

Can I join? My first week.... Joined group last Saturday and my erratic period has started... Went out unexpectedly to friends house for a meal, but other than that have stuck to plan. I know I haven't even completed my first week, but have convinced myself that I'm doomed to fail like I have done every other time I have started trying to loose weight, especially with my rubbish start....

I'm knocking on the door of 50 fighting against middle aged spread, saggy big boobs, and hormones.

my Mum and Grandmother are large... Is it just inevitable that I'm never going to be slim....?

Sorry for doom and gloom .....
