2lb off in the first week, I'm happy with that as it was my wedding anniversary on Sunday and I went completely off plan for a nice dinner out with champagne. So I'm pleased that I've still managed to lose.

Well done everyone this week, @Groovee it's so annoying when you put weight on despite being on plan all week. Keep at it!

FiveNightsAtMummys · 14/05/2019 20:02

Oh no groove, any ideas what caused your gain? Maybe it's the scales? Some weeks at out group people seem to loose / gain more than expected. I've noticed compared to mine they can be from 1/2 lb to 2lb out.

Groovee · 14/05/2019 20:11

I think it's the heat as I swell up and retain water. Better be off next week.

Bad luck groovee. Well done mum and other losers. 1.5lb off for me this week. So .5lb under target now.

DontFundHate · 15/05/2019 08:12

Good luck this week @groovee

Well done @owlinatree

I have started running this week, used to do it years ago, felt so good to do it again!

ALemonyPea · 15/05/2019 17:07

Well done losers.

I found the last half a stone a killer to lose when I was near target. It was very disheartening at times.

I'm loving the hot weather, certainly helps with the salad eating. Having a lovely pork, danish blue and romaine lettuce salad tonight. Can't wait!

edgen2019 · 15/05/2019 17:19

Oh well I will pick myself up off the floor and carry on with the food plan, determined to swipe that smug look on the lady's face when she weighs me!!

FiveNightsAtMummys · 15/05/2019 17:49

Having a wobble. Not keen on plan b had 3 as and 2 bs yesterday and today, I use to get so excited at the thought of this but now its here I hate it. Hardly have room for anything else (fruit snacks etc). I'm massivly worried I'll put weight on. I feel massive today even tho I'm smaller than I've ever been I suddenly feel big, maybe it's because once I got to target I treat myself to some new clothes and they fit quite snug compared to my old loose clothin. I think I want to change target but not sure of I'm being unrealistic or just panicking. I'm 5ft6 and target is 10st7 I'm currently 10st4.5lb thinking if maybe saying 9st12lb? But will I be happy then? Am I addicted to the buzz of loosing weight? I've only ever had 3 gains since I joined 1lb at xmas & 0.5 lb (two times).

Sorry if I sound so ungrateful I just have no one to talk to in real life without them rolling their eyes at me and I know it's not a real problem just trying to make sense of how I feel when I expected to feel great.

Bowbridge · 15/05/2019 18:15

I was 1.5lb away from getting back to target, but this week put on 4.5lb.

I was sabotaged a little by kindness, two cakes eaten during home visits to my new Reception children. But really... 4.5 lb!!

Like you, Groovee, I am raging! I want to be back at target by half term (I will go to a morning weigh-in during half term, which will help).

ExpletiveDelighted · 15/05/2019 18:28

First weigh-in for me today, 3lb off and I enjoyed the meeting. Phew!

OwlinaTree · 15/05/2019 21:22

Lol bowbridge you are brave! I'm just starting on that track again, although I don't do home visits, just nursery visits.

Groovee · 15/05/2019 21:56

Oh @Bowbridge I hear you.

Well done @ExpletiveDelighted

@FiveNightsAtMummys I struggled too at first. Looking back it took from March to October to work things out. I also decided that I had to stick target out for quite a while. And it did work eventually x

Thanks @Groovee, just sat here working out first days meals, two Weetabix with sliced banana, jacket sweet potato with tuna, roast chicken and salad for dinner. Anyone else planning for the next week yet?

JaceLancs · 16/05/2019 21:08

1 off for me this week which I’m very disappointed about as was hoping for 3
I’ve been working away this week so have been eating badly - worried now I’ll put loads on n undo my last few weeks hard work

edgen2019 · 17/05/2019 16:54

Jace - one pound off is preferable to one pound on! keep going although life does sometimes get in the way! One pound off for me today I have three pounds to go to target and its a struggle!!

DontFundHate · 18/05/2019 08:25

2lb off this week. So pleased.

Love being back on slimming world. I tried the 5:2 but was so hungry on fast days, it just didn't suit me, probably because I need to be on the go every day looking after my two little ones. I do like some of the principles though. So I'm trying to use SW to follow a healthy Mediterranean diet but with a few SW rules so that I don't just drink wine all day! I'm using spray rapeseed oil (not really synning that), my healthy As and B (only roughly counting), using my syns (again roughly) for mainly healthy foods (last time I saved my syns for treat boxes of curly whirlys and the like!) as for me, eating chocolate etc is a habit I really need to stop long term. So far it's working. I'm amazed really and feel like I'm just following a healthy eating plan, but with some rules to keep me on track

iklboo · 18/05/2019 10:32

0.5 lb loss this week. Not what I wanted but it's a loss. I've not eaten properly this week (on plan but not much food or speed) or exercised as much as I was ill.

2lb to stone award but I think that's a bit of a push for next week.

AliceBbw · 18/05/2019 14:39

Lost 4lb my best loss since I joined

strangerthongs · 19/05/2019 08:44

Got my 4 stone award today! Grin

Going to try for another half a stone and that might be me, I never set a target, but I know I don't want to be too skinny, just comfortable. If I can get into a size 12 (comfortably), I think I'll stop then.

2019namechange · 19/05/2019 08:48

Wow! Strangerthongs that's incredible! I started slimming world on Monday, so my first weigh in is tomorrow. I have almost 6 stone to lose. So it's inspiring to hear how well people can do!

Groovee · 19/05/2019 10:16

Well done@strangerthongs

OwlinaTree · 19/05/2019 10:34

Well done stranger!

I'm feeling a little fragile after a big night out last night! Lots of booze, lots of dancing, crisp sandwich when I got inBlush

I'm starting at a friend's and it looks like he's doing a fry up, so that will be my syns for today I guess!

DontFundHate · 19/05/2019 17:59

@strangerthongs well done!

Total blow out this weekend. Shall I forget about it and start afresh tomorrow? Probably put on all the weight I lost Sad or maybe I'll try to reduce my syns a bit this week? Say 5-10 instead of my usual 15? upping my exercise again this so maybe that will help
