Well done loosers!! I've bought 2 pairs of size 10 jeans today!! I've been a 10 on top for a few weeks but didn't think I would be on bottom so I'm really pleased! Had a binge yesterday and felt really terrible, way over syns (already had a McDonalds this week to celebrate). Today I've been 100% not had any syns, prob will have 1 later but I have my heb left too so can have an alpen bar. Need to be extra good now or I'll be in and out of target in a week!

JaceLancs · 12/05/2019 12:28

Lost 2 this week - so back over 5 stone loss again
1 stone 1lb to go to target - I was hoping to get there by my June holiday but am a very slow loser so hoping for half a stone then the other half stone by September
I’ve given up drinking for May which is helping otherwise I would only lose 0.5-1 a week
I’m feeling better about how I look though and even though my weight is same as 9 months ago I’m a size smaller
Celebrated yesterday by going to bravissimo and treating myself to a very flattering black bikini

strangerthongs · 12/05/2019 16:16

put on half a pound. Gutted. It's the only non-holiday time I've put weight on. I know why - I had two meals out due to events but still feel down about it.

I also have two lunches with friends this week coming up argh.

How can I get back on track?

I'm 2 lbs away from 4 stone. I really want to hit the 4 stone!!!

Groovee · 12/05/2019 16:32

@FiveNightsAtMummys that was me. Lost the plot the first week. Then treated it like my first week doing a new way of life 😂

Well done @JaceLancs I need to get to Bravissimo and get remeasured.

@strangerthongs I do meals out as flexible syns. I'm 100% on plan for everything else then enjoy myself at those meals. You have 21 meals a week... you still have 19 where you can pull it back.

Loving the nice weather. We have sports day at work this week. Looking forward to it.

Made my egg, sausage muffin this morning. Totally gorgeous. So it's a Quorn sausage patty, turkey bacon, fried egg, 10g of cheese on a Sainsbury's Wholemeal muffin. 2 satsumas to replace the 2nd muffin that I wanted 😂

Baked oat waffles (£2.99 for the mould from Amazon), yoghurt, berries and Near Zero chocolate sauce (1/2 syn for 3 tablespoons).

I'd have that groove, minus the Turkey bacon. Tasted like carpet when i tried it. I had the sw beef koftas for tea they were delicious!! My new favourite thing has to be chocolate weetabix! Already looking forward to breakfast!

Waffles look yummy! I bought a silicone mould from Ebay for 1.79 and it makes 8 waffles so I usually have them spread throughout the day.

DontFundHate · 12/05/2019 20:23

Well done loosers, it's great to hear about everyone's progress

I lost 2lb this week, first week back on it, really pleased. It was DD1s birthday today so have eaten a lot of party food... Don't think I'll punish myself for it. But a bit worried that it's reignited my sweet tooth!!

ALemonyPea · 12/05/2019 22:15

Well done losers. Well done on getting target Five! Didn't get weighed this week due to new shifts.

I can no longer eat oats, they flare my colitis, but I love the idea of the silicon moulds for maybe sweet omelettes (aka SW pancakes)

OwlinaTree · 12/05/2019 22:35

Lovely weather here too!

Well done Jace! Bad luck mum, nothing worse than wasting syns eating things to be polite.

Ok weekend for me food wise, on plan Friday, most of Saturday but went to the pub for tea and had 3 g&ts. Pretty much on plan today, lunch was at the chip shop at the zoo, but had fish, no batter, mushy peas and about 6 chips, then a SW dinner so probably ok.

Really want a loss this week, want to get back to target at least!

Jennylou88 · 13/05/2019 09:59

Hi ladies, i started SW on Saturday I'm 22 weeks pregnant and have really overdone it so need to eat healthier now. It's crazy but i actually think I've ate more over the weekend but healthier choices and no biscuit binges (I can eat a couple of packets in 1 go normally Blush ) Having the extra HEA and HEB helps!
How many syns do you all tend to have a day? I've been going for about 10-15.

DontFundHate · 13/05/2019 11:52

Good luck @jenny biscuits are my downfall too. I haven't bought a packet in over 10 years because it's the one thing I have no self control over. That's not to say I haven't had any in 10 years, I just never buy them myself!

Weighed myself again this morn and haven't put on any weight yesterday, so just going to carry on as normal now! Sweet tooth not gone so maybe will have a hot chocolate and hope that helps

DontFundHate · 13/05/2019 11:53

@jenny I always had the full 15 and lost weight every week. This time I'm only following SW loosely so not counting religiously, I reckon I'm coming in at an average 15 a day over the week

ClashCityRocker · 13/05/2019 21:52

My syns vary hugely - if I don't fancy anything that's synned, I won't have it just so I hit five syns, or some other amount.

I tend to use them for cooking though - butter on veg, chorizo with chicken. I'm lucky in that I don't have much of a sweet tooth!

I reckon I probably average five a day during the week, and twenty at weekends when I might cook something more elaborate or have a glass of wine.

OwlinaTree · 13/05/2019 22:20

I have a little treat every evening, it's what keeps me on track all day. There's always cakes, biscuits, sweets, chocolates on the go at work, so I find I can resist these if I think 'I won't have that now I'll have something later.'

I usually aim for around 10 syns to give me a bit extra for weekends. Today I've had 13.5syns.

ExpletiveDelighted · 13/05/2019 22:25

I'm saving some HA and HB in the form of a small slice of toast and some cheese spread for my evening treat. My syns are mostly going on sauces as part of a main meal (I'm not keen on dry food) and salad dressing so far, tonight we had some satay sauce and I had low fat mayo at lunchtime.

FiveNightsAtMummys · 14/05/2019 12:15

2lb off. So I'm at bottom of my target now (well 2.5lb under) Starting plan b (2 extra healthy extras and up to 15 extra syns up to 3 times a week) seems alot but I guess I have 5.5lb to play with but need to give it ago and start maintaining.

AnnieDianaLulu · 14/05/2019 15:11

Ive lost 5 this week, so I am now on 11.5 lost in 2 weeks, aiming for that stone award next week Smile

Groovee · 14/05/2019 16:18

@FiveNightsAtMummys it took me a number of months to get the hang of target. The 6lb is there to jump about in.

@AnnieDianaLulu well done.

edgen2019 · 14/05/2019 17:28

Groovee - do you ever have weeks where, despite sticking to the food plan, the weight will not shift? I have about 5 pounds to lose now, and however strict I am the scales will not budge!

Groovee · 14/05/2019 18:08

I gained 3.5lb this week! Seriously not deserved. Raging!

OP posts:
Groovee · 14/05/2019 18:09

@edgen2019 yes.all the time when I want to lose weight. I normally binge then let it sort itself out after that.

edgen2019 · 14/05/2019 18:21

Thank you Groovee I know you have lost a lot of weight, appreciate your honesty, losing my remaining weight is harder than trying to climb the North Face of the Eiger!

Groovee · 14/05/2019 18:35

@edgen2019 I had 8lb to lose and it took 10 weeks. Then fell off me the weeks after getting to target. Our bodies are strange things.
