Starting the 2019 support thread for those on SW or those thinking of starting.

Let's introduce ourselves. I'm Groovee. In 2016 I was told to lose weight so I could have Gynae surgery. I joined SW in Jan 2017. Have lost 4.5st on SW 5.5st since 2016. Have been at target for 9 months now. Long may it continue being at target and staying there.

Have my new members pack and look forward to the challenges of 2019. I need to look for some new recipes.

I could have my berries and skyr and oats for breakfast without the banana. That would be SP. Then I usually have chicken and egg salad for lunch, that's SP. Do you still get 2 HEX B on SP?

It's just dinners. Maybe I could have an omlette on the days I go out in the evening? I don't really want to eat different from the kids when we all eat together, so I could drop potatoes from my dinner but they might notice!

FiveNightsAtMummys · 20/02/2019 16:09

It's just 1 HEB on sp now and 10 syns max. There's a little leaflet dedicated to sp now

OwlinaTree · 20/02/2019 17:22

Thanks five. I'll give it a try when I get back to work.

FiveNightsAtMummys · 20/02/2019 18:18

If you want to know anything just shout I'll have a look in the booklet.

moanymoaner · 20/02/2019 18:39

Oh I love this! Didn't know this forum was here! Joined Jan 2nd for the 103958302 time but feel really focused. Only lost 7.5 pounds so far but trying to still live too and not be too strict as that's when I fall off. I want to lose 4 stone!

OrianaBanana · 20/02/2019 19:26

Well done losers!

Sorry to hear about the disheartened, sometimes it can be water retention or such, it should hopefully all even out. I liked the old SP days but they just seem too strict now!

1lb off this week. xx

Groovee · 20/02/2019 19:48

Och @OwlinaTree that's a bummer.

Well done @OrianaBanana

Welcome @moanymoaner

Been 100% today. Got a meal out on Saturday. But otherwise should be ok this week.

Thank you! I'm really trying to! Crisps are my downfall x

Groovee · 20/02/2019 20:12

My downfall used to be crisps. Possibly 5-6 packets a day. Now luckily to have 2/3 times a week x

Thanks five

OwlinaTree · 20/02/2019 21:28

Thanks groovee

ALemonyPea · 20/02/2019 21:58

Oooo crisps, my Achilles heel. Could easily eat a family sized bag with some dip in one sitting.

Owlina, I was thinking of trying 16:8 intermittent fasting type thing with SW in there. Been reading the past few days about it.

OwlinaTree · 20/02/2019 22:04

I'll let you know what I decide lemony. Let us know how you get on!

ALemonyPea · 21/02/2019 10:26

2lb off! Really surprised, but very pleased.

Groovee · 21/02/2019 13:17

Well done @ALemonyPea

OwlinaTree · 21/02/2019 16:05

Good one lemony!

Groovee · 21/02/2019 18:12

Made cauliflower muffins. If you like cauliflower these are a good alternative to bread.

Thanks

They look interesting a Groovee, what's the recipe?

shecamefromgreece · 21/02/2019 19:27

Hi all I've not been on for a bit as I'm struggling and seem to be stuck in a rut of eating crap then hating myself so eating more crap
I've lost track of how many "new starts"I've had but miraculously I haven't gained but it's certainly not shifting as quick as it should be!
alemonypea 16:8 is great when my head is screwed on I do it my eeating window is usually 12 til 8 and I actually don't find it hard in the morning and to help in the evening I put my teeth whitening trays inGrin
I feel better when I'm on it.
Has anyone tried the promise gluten free submarine rolls?
I've had the ciabatta gluten free rolls which I was really impressed with. It's nice to have white bread for a change they are both hexb's.
I've just bought some of the subs from Sainsburys and they are BIG!!

Imperfectsusan · 21/02/2019 23:45

So many positive weigh ins. Really well done everybody.

Groovee · 22/02/2019 05:10

Here you go @ALemonyPea

@shecamefromgreece lovely to see you. I sometimes think we fall out of the right mindset. Not gaining is fab though x

Thanks grooveeSmile
Right my plan to try and get me back on track is to eat loadsGrin
I'm a bugger for skipping meals so I'm having three decent meals with snacks if I need them instead of grazing on rubbish all day.
I would just like one day on plan which sounds pathetic really but I'm thinking small steps!

ALemonyPea · 22/02/2019 09:11

I've bought some of the sub rolls as well, planning on doing a BLT for lunch today. Will report back. They are a canny decent size!

Think my 16:8 window will have to be 10-6, going to try it next week, possibly the week after as will be out Saturday night.

shecamefromgreece · 22/02/2019 09:15

I know lemony I'm thinking the same for lunch!!Grin
