I started SW at 24 stone 11lbs and in 14 weeks I have lost 2 stone 5.5lbs.
I am super proud of myself but I have 11 stone 13 pounds to go.
We can do this!
Share what you want..If you need a little bit of motivation or just want to have a good cry.

Am dreading weigh in tomorrow. Sad Have tried to be good - went out for lunch on Thursday though (no dessert) oh well. Tomorrow wil tell.

Major meal fail this weekend, totally off plan, gained half a pound (which I'm ok with, considering...) but dh lost 1lb Hmm

Dammit - gained a pound! Sad Angry

I knew I would - can't seem to take a week of without it happening. I was cheerful at weigh-in (can only stay to group in school hols time because I work in the afternoon). Good job I am working as it takes my mind off it.

Anyway have had a "free" brunch of bacon (medallions), egg, mushrooms and tomatoes plus yogurt and banana for brekkie - so I am set to go now.

Just hate counting syns - feels so negative - but heigh ho!

Hope all your weigh-ins go better @Witty - half a pound after a weekend totally off plan isn't bad almost worth it (but not quite) Grin

@Solina i needed to be back in the game! I was better but not as good as i needed to be! Haha im the same! Im still in nursing bras (and i couldnt even breastfeed in the end!) still and my son is over a year! I refused to get measured until i have lost at least a stone!

@MissMardyBum thats amazing! Go you! It goes to show you never know what the scales will tell you!

@kaitlinktm thats a bummer but it is only a pound 😊 i bet you will loose than and more next week!

@WittyWithWine Thats annoying but it happens and its only half a pound 😊 damn the hubby! Though apparently they lose weight quicker because their metabolism is fast than ours?

I relost one pound this week, which was what i gained last week but i am happy. I have been eating everything in sight because i am due so am glad just to have lost something!

Does anyone have any tips for due on munchies? I was craving meat and bread, so am thinking about buying cold meats but any other tips would be wonderful!

Hey everyone! So i lost 1/2 a pound this week! Its better than a gain/maintain and considering the chocolate binges i had (period!!) i am very lucky.

I just really wanted to have hit the stone mark for my friends wedding next friday 🙁 but i am half a stone less then i was at her hen do and i feel so much better in myself! So must keep focusing on the good!

@WittyWithWine well done you! And you beat the hubby this week! Not that its a competition 😂

@kaitlinktm go you! I bet you were happy with that loss! Haha i do that too! Work is my downfall at the moment, i get stressed and eat!

Just coming on to say to everyone - celebrate what you have achieved instead of berating yourself for what you haven't. Our sort of weight losses aren't going to happen overnight after all are they?

Evening ladies i hope you are all doing well!

I lost 3.5lbs at group today! I was expecting maybe 2!! Very chuffed, im so close to a stone, maybe in the next 2 weeks? (I have a wedding on friday and a rare childfree night i will be drinking lots!)
I did go to an earlier group and i was off today so didnt eat much, i wonder if that made a difference? 🤔
Either way woop woop!

Whoa well done Mumma - just think how much you could lose by Christmas if you keep on at this rate!

I didn't go this week - booked a holiday due to having stuff on, but really am worried as I don't do well if I have a holiday. Sad Fingers crossed for next week.

On the upside I have been to Iceland this week (had to go to have an eye test to the town where my nearest Iceland is) and used my SW Iceland discount card to get some SW ready meals. Have to say I didn't like the chicken risotto I had last night but have better hopes for the chicken noodley thing and the cottage pie. Can anyone recommend any of the Iceland SW stuff?

May I join you please? I’ve lost 1 st 7 so far but have another 2.5 to go. Had a few disappointing weeks and need loads of motivation. I really wanted a good Oct loss but finding half term a nightmare!

Welcome Boo - you sound like me in that I tend to plateau - however I have a lot more to lose than you do. What day do you get weighed? My day is Tuesday and I am worrying already - because I have had a week's holiday! Grin

@kaitlinktm id like to think so! Though considering how much i ate and drank at the wedding i was at on Friday, maybe not this week 😂

Im sure you will be ok 😊, i do love iceland for food! I likes the lasagna and chicken pasta, i havent really tried anything else i dont think. Their meatballs and burgers are good too!

Welcome @boo1507! Well done so far thats a great amount lost! I keep getting to 1/2 a st/1st and struggle to get further its very frustrating especially as i wanted to have lost a minimum of 3st this year/ 5st in total!
Having said that im going to group now so i hoping it will be different this time!

Blood and sand - I have gained the 2.5 pounds I lost 2 weeks ago!! What on earth am I doing? I knew I might have a gain with not going last week but not this much.

I wouldn't mind if I was eating chips and chocolate and quaffing wine. Grrr. I am going to have to track syns again - I did this for the first few months, but then I decided that it wasn't a sustainable thing to be doing long term and seemed to do OK for a while without, but now ...

I hope everyone else has better news than me! Sad Sad Angry

I was naughty, i didnt go to group yesterday, mostly because i knew i probably gained but also i was so stressed and tired from work i wanted to curl up in a ball.

Im stress eating again, i feel like crap physically and mentally for it! I need to stop. Work made me cry today and cake made it better 🤦‍♀️

Im off tomorrow maybe that will help!

@kaitlinktm its so frustrating isnt it?! You never know next week you might loose it all and more!

I suppose we have to look at it as a blip - why does it have to be so hard though? Sad Have tried to stay on track yesterday and today, but tomorrow I have the aged parents coming round - mustn't go mad!

Keep thinking of what I said a couple of weeks ago - we have to look on the positive side too. Imagine how much we would be piling on if we weren't going to SW at all.

I started yesterday, looking for some syn free lunch ideas really. Yesterday I had scrambled eggs & bacon, & salad, no oil.

Today I’m thinking soup.

I weighed in at 20st 4 and want to lose 10% to start with.
Think I’ll be happy around 12 st.

I have had - bacon medallions, mushrooms, an egg, tomatoes and beans - all free food!! Can't be bad!! Trying not to use any syns until I have ordinary cottage pie tonight with the parents. Then they are having choc cake, jelly and cream (reverting to their childhoods) and I am having just jelly with yogurt - but they will think it's cream like theirs.

Soup is a good one Jake - but if you are ever in a rush, a chicken and sweetcorn mug shot is only one and a half syns - but you are right to keep it syn free as much as possible.

Hope everyone has a good weekend (but not too good IYSWIM).

I did SW five years ago and lost nearly five stone, I then fell pregnant with my daughter and piled it all back on plus another stone. I restarted SW three weeks ago and am doing well so far, I lost 7lb in my first week, 2.5lb in the second and 2lb this week. Fingers crossed I can keep it up Confused

Hello all.... About 14st to loose here. Had lost 2.5st, then got complacent and regained it. Lost 1.5st again and then my dad died unexpectedly. Have been slowly regaining ever since as bread is just too easy (plus stress / comfort / fuck it). Currently about 1st down.

Need to find my mojo. Saw someone on Facebook earlier who'd lost 6.5st in 32 weeks. I need to do that.

I’ve not posted in a while but here is my current state

Current total of 22lbs off so I got my 1.5 stone sticker
now in week 11
Still to lose 56 lbs or thereabouts
Have also nearly achieved my bronze body magic, starting silver on Tuesday

Next mini goal, 1 lb gets me my club 10 award but I have a hell of a week ahead of me so not confident I’ll get it
