Well done losers.

What’s 16:8?

PA, don’t give up. How strict are you being? Maybe you need to be less so for a few days.

PositiveAttitude · 24/11/2017 07:00

Thanks, Lemony. I have tried being more relaxed and also being extremely rigid. Not a lot seems to work, or it will work for 1 weigh-in, then not work again.
I had a bad day on Wednesday so this week I fear I will just be playing catch up all week.
I will not give up because I am generally happy eating on plan and just plodding on. I just feel that if I am going to be gaining it should be because I have enjoyed chocolate cake, cheese or pate or something really nice and not because I have been eating quark and vegetables!! Hmm

amusedbush · 24/11/2017 08:02

It's a type of fasting. You eat in an 8 hour window and don't eat anything for the other 16.

caremummy · 25/11/2017 02:01

Back on it.
Want to be in the 10stone bracket by xmas.
Was doing ok but fell off the wagon, rolled down the hill etc due to health issues, now at point where health can only be improved through weight loss.
Will get to group Monday evening.
Also, going to try 16:8.
A bit of a silver lining situation, bank card got swallowed so haven't been able to go on big snack feasts at the shops.
It is time haha
Would like to be in 9 stone bracket by my birthday (mid feb) and target by my next placement (mid-late march).

caremummy · 25/11/2017 02:03

Not calorie counting this time though, SW an 16:8 will be enough

caremummy · 25/11/2017 02:06

Found the last time as well as health issues, DM wasn't a help.

She reckoned I should just aim for 11stone, which is only a couple of lbs weightloss, and a weight I can't maintain (have tried).

Naturally with no SW and no exercise I'm 11st6-12. 5'3. I need a bit of ambition.

latedecember1963 · 25/11/2017 08:52

It sounds like you have a plan in your head, Caremummy, and that's a good starting point. I find having mini targets to work towards helpful too.

Not had a bad week since coming home from hospital. DH is trying really hard with cooking nourishing but SW friendly meals. I've not nibbled much between meals and my best friend sent me nail varnish instead of chocolates. I've started knitting my great nephew a reindeer jumper so that will stop me nibbling too.

Have a good weekend, everyone!

amusedbush · 25/11/2017 10:24

I kept an eye on my calories this week and lost ANOTHER 5lbs - that's 13lbs in three weeks Shock

12st 2.5 and I'm so excited to get into the 11's! We're going to Paris on Friday for three nights and I almost don't want to go now 😂🙈

caremummy · 25/11/2017 14:05

13lbs in 3 weeks is fab, very well done Star

FitbitAddict · 26/11/2017 11:01

Well done amused fab result Smile

On Friday DH was offered a job in Dubai so it looks like I'll be moving there next August. Now I'll need a bikini body all the time Shock At least a stone to go until I reach that stage!!

GreatStar · 26/11/2017 12:57

Joining for wee bitta support as i embark (again) on sw journey. Successful this time!

latedecember1963 · 27/11/2017 11:13

Morning everyone!

That's fabulous, Amusedbush! Enjoy Paris, You'll probably do loads of walking so that will help to counter balance the croissants.

My first post-op WI this morning. I've lost 1/2 lb. Didn't stay for the talk as it was my first outing and DH was keen to get me home for breakfast.

Welcome, Greatstar, you can do it!

Groovee · 27/11/2017 15:28

Morning all!

Home from Brownie holiday. My eating was baaaad. Too much homebaking that my hands kept putting in my mouth!

Ah well I did a zip wire too! Scary stuff but it was so much fun. Would never have done that a year ago.

OP posts:
caremummy · 27/11/2017 22:49

I'm a brownie leader too Grin

So first night back at group, well a new group and my starting weight is 11st 4 lb Shock

It's at least 4 lb less than I thought

I always seem to be less on the SW scales than at boots or any home scales, not complaining though

Batch cooked a curry with pepper, mushroom, potato, black beans and chickpeas. 4 syns for the sauce, split into 4 portions - my lunches sorted. (along with spinach, chopped tomato and brown rice)

Seeing as its my first week back, I'm really really hoping I could lose 5lbs , as this would take me into the 10stone bracket which I haven't been for years.

Exams and deadlines next week and week after, so trying to get some long library sessions in.

My new consultant is so, so lovely, and different from all my previous ones being a male. It is also within walking distance, hoping I might last a bit longer than my usual week

Groovee · 27/11/2017 22:58

Glad it went well @caremummy. I feel the need to say well done, well done, well done x

OP posts:
caremummy · 28/11/2017 01:21

thankyou xx I'm hoping I can really run with it this time

amusedbush · 28/11/2017 10:26

I'm up a little on the scales this morning (that doesn't freak me out, I know my body by now!) so I decided to do my measurements and compare them to one year ago:

Bust: 47" -> 38"

Waist: 41" -> 32"

Hips: 50" -> 40"

Thigh: 26" -> 21"

Bicep: 15" -> 11.75"

Can you believe my waist was once bigger than my hips are now?? Shock

caremummy · 28/11/2017 13:44

That's amazing results !x

I should do my measurements

TheImprobableGirl · 28/11/2017 15:46

Still keeping an eye on the threads, some great recipe ideas and motivation - thanks y'all. I discovered mince pie cookies this week, that was a bad morning!

Managed to lose 3lbs this week though so thats 7.5lbs down in 2 weeks, happy with that Smile

Well done losing losers

Groovee · 28/11/2017 16:49

I'm facing the music... standing on the scales even though I feel rubbish.

Petaldrops · 28/11/2017 18:06

Haven't been on for over a week, just read through all the posts well done on all the loses girls. I was up 1/2lb last week and it's been a hard week keeping on track since. Expecting a gain later but going to deal with it and start afresh tomorrow.

OwlinaTree · 28/11/2017 19:37

I've had a loss! 1.5lb off, only 1lb to go to target. Will I do it before Xmas? Who knows, quite a lot of parties coming up!

I bought the comfort food recipe book as I've heard good things about it, let's hope I stay on the straight and narrow!!

Groovee · 28/11/2017 19:43

I'm in shock. 3lb loss! 4st award!
