Welcome back @MyGuideJools.

Glad everything went well @latedecember1963

Lol @amusedbush. I just couldn’t do not eating. It was hard enough when I had surgery in July 😂 I am such a ganet.

Some good losses, welcome back lavender.

Couldn't get to class this week but I weigh at home and looks like I've lost, so need to keep it up till next week!

Still not well though, went out tonight as it was a special occasion but couldn't eat much. Off my food at lunch as well. Very unlike me!

Groovee · 21/11/2017 22:23

Lost 1lb! Only 1.5lb to 4st

Hi Jools I remember you well. My mum died a little bit before your dad (end August) and I totally get the falling off plan!! I have really struggled for what seems like ages now and am clinging onto Slimming World by my finger tips. Welcome back and well done on jumping back into it.

Another week of being 100% on it. Even my meals out were kept within my syn allowance........ and a bloody 2lb GAIN last night. Pissed off does not even begin to cover it. What do I have to do to shift this weight??? I feel like giving it all up!!! Angry

MyGuideJools · 22/11/2017 07:29

Hi PA thanks for the welcome. I remember about your mumFlowers
It's tough isn't it? The number of times I've started with a clean sheet and by lunchtime eaten my body weight in cake is anybodies guessBlush but I can't allow myself to put the 5 stone back on! So I need to focus.
Dad was so supportive when I was losing weight, so I like to think he's egging me on again now.
Thanks groovee that's a great help.

Groovee · 22/11/2017 08:14

PA our bodies are odd things. I’ve had a rollercoaster since July. I’ve only lost 12.5lbs since then despite being 150% most weeks and it really gets to me. Not sure how to solve it.

amusedbush · 22/11/2017 09:18

Well, 16:8 was short-lived because it's only 9.20am and I've had a toasted teacake with jam and a coffee Grin

Bloody delicious though. Definitely worth every syn.

amusedbush · 22/11/2017 10:03

Oh FFS, it's constant drama in this office. It's yet another birthday so there will be birthday cake mid-morning.

A colleague who arranges it just ranted at me about how everyone is on a diet and how embarrassing it is that nobody is eating the cake. She told me that I should take a piece to be polite and just go without my lunch! ConfusedHmm

Groovee · 22/11/2017 11:52

Well maybe she should have got a smaller cake 😂. Take a slice and stick it in a napkin and bin it...

OP posts:
amusedbush · 22/11/2017 12:45

I considered it but frankly I didn't want to give her the satisfaction of thinking she'd changed my mind 😂

Scribblegirl · 22/11/2017 13:55

Good for you amused, I constantly get the evils for not partaking in cakes and biscuits in the office, it's exhausting!

Delighted to say I'm 2.5 down today, bringing me to a 12lb loss overall Smile very happy with that, but it's still early days and I've got a couple more stone to go before target so I'm trying not to get complacent. Going to try for another 5.5lb by Christmas as it would be nice to hit my Club 10 before I stuff my face and ruin it all Optimistic but not impossible.

amusedbush · 22/11/2017 14:54

Woohoo, 2.5lbs is brilliant Scribblegirl!

Groovee · 22/11/2017 15:00

Well done @Scribblegirl

Finally went to the doctor but no antibiotics. She's given me some ant acids though, might explain why I've been off my food if I'm having heartburn I guess!

Groovee · 22/11/2017 23:16

Aww Owlina, I have dreadful reflux. Hoping your heartburn clears up soon x

Well done to those who have lost this week and condolences to those who have lost such special people.

At the end of my first week I've lost 1.6kg which is about 3.5lbs so I'm pleased with that. I'd love to lose another half stone by Christmas.

I'm finding this a really easy way to lose weight so far.

londonloves · 23/11/2017 07:58

Lost 3lb first week with a fair bit of off plan eating! Only 2 stone 11 to go!
My 7 week old baby is 12lb 2 now so lugging him round all day must be burning some calories!
Got loads of stuff in the freezer that needs eating, post baby batch cooked supplies, no idea what Syn value they are as a lot not cooked by me, am just trying to mitigate this by eating a ton of veg with everything.

amusedbush · 23/11/2017 08:14

The scales have been very kind to me so far this week, I'm down 2lbs on my scales (which are always exactly the same as the group scales).

I've been using my syns for fat rather than sugar as an experiment and my body seems to be happy. I still have two days until weigh in but there has been a nice downward trend this week!

Groovee · 23/11/2017 11:09

Well done on the losses.

Ooh that looks lovely grovee!

Hex B pizza tonight - bread mix base for my Hex B and mozzarella for my Hex A. Probably my favourite SW recipe I've come across yet Smile

Well done losers!
