Can't help you there as I'm doing it out of an old book and so I'm not entirely sure what is classed as speed food or what p stand for (although I'm assuming it's protein foods).

But I think you have an extra HEXB but apart from that stick to meat and veg, plus syns. No carbu stuff like pasta or spuds.

But someone else will be able to tell you better as that's a guess!

wowser3 · 24/01/2016 12:38

Arrgh basin I've done it again! Thought a muller was free, it had a cherry under layer, it's got syns! Oops!

OrianaBanana · 24/01/2016 12:41

basin that's right. Half plate of speed food (usually veg), half of protein, and an extra HExB. Check your book for what's S and what's P.

I like them as apart from not having ff yog and carbs with my dinner, I just get an extra HExB which I usually use on a caramel hifi.

Just syn it wowser and adjust rest of the day's food to accommodate it if you need to. E.g. If you had planned a Yorkshire pud with dinner, you'll have to go without now!

oriana thanks that's good to clarify. I am saving speed days for when I need to boost weight loss!

Wibblewobble100 · 24/01/2016 12:50

I got 2.5 off this week!😬 BUT it was 10 days as I missed the usual weigh in, it was morning not evening and it was "the week after star week". Remains to be seen if I manage another loss on wed evening. Last couple of days have been good though. I made the cauli sauce in a lasagne, and it was pretty darn good.... Not a lovely cheese Leiden white sauce obviously, but a pretty good every day alternative. Welcome to all the newbies and well done everyone on their losses or hard earned maintains.

wowser3 · 24/01/2016 12:50

Ah thanks oriana I'm gonna give it a go. Want to get in the next weight bracket for next weigh in :)
Argh, going out for Sunday lunch , one less Yorkshire pud for me then lol. Note to self, checks syns BEFORE you eat!!

knowler · 24/01/2016 13:30

Hi all, checking in to new thread :) Don't know why but I seen to have lost my mojo this week... Diet has been crap and haven't been for a run. Low about work and its affecting me, I think. But trying to stay calm and not blow all my progress so far. Definitely going for run later and lasagne made with cauliflower sauce to look forward to :)

FannyFanakapan · 24/01/2016 13:53

I just made this: afghan carrot hotpot - absolutely delicious and would work well on an SP day I think?? I think I would soak the split peas before making next time, as they took ages to soften. But worth the wait.

FoofFighter · 24/01/2016 14:00

I went a little off piste last night with some crisps, choc and vodka, but straight back on plan today :)

L: sw pasta quiche with HEXA parmesan, served with half a plate of mushrooms and onions, 2syns for oil

T: not sure yet as ddn't get anything from the freezer - and away to Asda shortly, but thinking maybe fakeaway salt and pepper chicken with cauli rice.

Been away for the MIL's birthday this weekend. Stuck to plan as much as possible...but haven't been able to completely. Went out for lunch for her birthday yesterday, managed to avoid the wine and dessert but not sure how great my starter and main were, Syn-wise! And today she cooked a lovely meal for 10 of us for lunch...bless her, she did the mashed potato just with a tiny bit of milk and no butter just for me...but then I had a small piece of meringue and cream, some cheese and a slither of chocolate cake. One thing I did do, though, was to fasten my belt a notch tighter than normal before the meal...meant I felt full more quickly and couldn't overdo it too much when the desserts/cheese were put on the table!

3hr drive home now, then a SP day tomorrow, I think...

annatha · 24/01/2016 19:11

Need to go food shopping tomorrow, snacking on SW meatballs as there's very little free food in the house. Dh is eating SW food with me but then not counting syns or hexs and has gained 3 pounds in 2 weeks. He isn't impressed, but then refuses to measure cheese etc.

Way to go Ain! Star

TouchTheFrog · 24/01/2016 20:58

Deli I'm so glad I'm not the only one!

Fanny I have fallen off the wagon so many times, have rejoined lots but God loves a trier! Smile

Well done Basin and DH, sounds like you're both on track.

Wowser I did something similar thinking that sage and onion stuffing was free. Really easy to get mixed up with the fromage frais/yogurt/creme fresh type things.

Ain that is some willpower!

I'm currently cooking a slimming world tomato soup and getting all the ingredients chopped for a lasagne which I'll do in the slow cooker whilst I'm at work tomorrow. I seem to do so much better when I get organised.

I've been on a massive walk today which involved lots of stairs up to a hill. I thought I was going to throw up at the top. Sometimes I feel like it will take forever to get into a normal weight range Sad

Pisghetti · 24/01/2016 21:02

fanny the pumpkin butter came to me through an international 'treat exchange' in a FB group I'm on. I've not come across it before. It's like a puree with sugar and spices. Delicious and about 10 calories a tbsp. I think it's American.

Today has been:
B - none. DP got up with the baby as I haven't had any decent sleep for ages and I slept until 14.00!! Must have needed it....
S - arla protein pot (1 Syn)
L - tiny portion of free savoury rice and some quorn pieces that the ban didn't eat.
D - quorn lasagne made with the cauliflower white sauce, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and sprouts

Other Syns I haven't checked yet - tiny twix from a selection pack, some chocolate coated honeycomb pieces.

WheresTheCoffee · 24/01/2016 21:15

Hello all, I'm just starting out with SW, any top tips?
Thanks!

Wibblewobble100 · 24/01/2016 21:30

Unexpectedly ended up in pizza express for lunch.... Yes I could have had the super food salad which was < 300 cals but it was so uninspiring. So I had one of the
