9lb is amazing! Well done!

My next weigh in is tomorrow, was 13stone last class (my first) and ideally I would like a 4lb loss though my weekly goal is 1lb (heard you lose more in your first week).

crystal - in the past I would probably happily have scoffed a lot more! Was very pleased I didn't today. Gives me hope. But is is very nice.
It's my newish other half's daughter that loves it, and she asked him to ask me, can't disappoint a 6 year old!

I'vebeen I'm sure you will have done well. I think I was just flukey this week - that or my body has decided I have.more than enough to loose and it's just happy to give it away.

Hi all, great to see the losses people are having, quite a few people have mentioned their diet doesn't feel that different, I feel the same, need to work on my portion sizes but it's difficult as the leader at my sw tells everyone to keep eating as much as they want, even saying have a whole roast chicken! Of course I'm not doing anything like that, but I'm aware that I have massive portions especially at tea time. I lost 3lb the first week and although I was pleased given how much I have to lose (about 6 stone) it wasn't as much for a first week as I had hoped.
Is anyone else feeling really bloated and gassy from all the fruit?

Had a Pasta N Sauce meal for lunch today (cheese and brocoli) which if using the milk as your A Choice is only half a syn! So easy.

Spag bol again for tea today but im swapping my spag for salad (I know Im allowed unlimited pasta but havibg it twice in one day seems a bit much).

1st weigh in tomorrow doesn't feel like I've lost anything to be honest x

Hi crystal we can do this. We must've had our babies around the same time. I'm struggling to lose the weight after 4 kids and being older. Hate it when people say I look fine and don't need to diet as I know I do.

I made the spaghetti Bolognese Friday and it was delicious. It's the syns that confuse me. So I'm putting them online then onto my sheet

Yay 3lb off at first week weigh in! Had hoped for more, followed the plan to a T all week until my DH arranged a meal with friends at our favourite all you can eat Chinese on sat night! Ate just a banana all day in preparation but then was so hungry I ate everything in sight! Too many syns to count!

Hopefully next week without the big oops I'll lose a bit more!!

well done!

I think it's all about having good days and then if there is one day things go a bit wonky then that's okay. In my case, one wonky day is way better than 7!!

That's what it's all about.

My ex came round tonight to see dd, he turned up with a pizza, I happily said no thanks and dd (who has been poorly with a bug) point blank refused any (so proud of her, figured it would be the worse food for her to have after being so ill) and he sat there and ate some and then told me I'd changed. I smiled and happily said, no now I'm putting me first. more about a ton of other things really, not just loosing weight, but still felt good I didn't give in!

Oh wow can't believe how fantastic everyone's done!!! My first group day tomorrow so my first weigh in won't be until next week but getting loads of meal ideas from you all.

Pink bear- what a great week not only losing weight but having a witty come back to the ex!

Flashy balls - glad I'm not the only one leaving it a little to long before starting to lose 'baby fat' - that's not saying you fat or thin more saying I am hahaha

Little ladybug - I got my mums bday Thursday so going for 'afternoon tea' - finger sandwiches half wrap scones (with cream &jam) then slice of cake and a mini cupcake.
Hope my lose will still be as big as urs

Xx

I went to my first meeting tonight. I want to lose 4 stone. It seems like an unmanageable mountain of a task but I need to be healthier and fitter. Even losing 4 stone doesn't put me in the healthy bmi category. I've really let this get out of hand.

Mummypig24 - well done for going to your first meeting!!
I have just done my food planner for the week to help me make sure I stay on track.

ugh. what a week. Dd has been ill, how can a small child produce so much vomit?! Which in turn has resulted in her not sleeping at all well. Ended up not working and so didn't quite get the shopping as sorted as I wanted.
I've tried to stick to healthier options and made sure I have written everything down.

But today I've hit a wall. Need sleep which in turn is making me want sugary things - luckily haven't the energy to go out and get these and am really trying to focus on weigh in tomorrow.

Have got the slow cooker out and a syn free meal is in there as figure by tea I'm not going to want to do anything and that's where I could happily eat crap.

sorry for the moan, just feel meh and really Un positive on everything. Hope everyone is having a good week

Pink my 6 month old is being a mare at the moment, think she's got separation anxiety arghhh, have been rubbish with my food diary this week but more because I have a cling on lol.

Embarrassing question, but is anyone noticing their toilet habit changing?

Report

pinkbear82 · 15/01/2015 18:20

Flashy, cherish the lightness of a 6 month old cling on.... Wink does make it bloody hard to get anything done tho doesn't it. Thanks
