I'm currently cooking the Lamb and Apricot Casserole from the SW website. Never tried it before but it smells good! Will let you know how it tastes.

B - Banana
L - Leftover Pepsi Max chicken with noodles and salad
D - Lamb and Apricot Casserole with couscous and salad (3.5 syns)
S - Satsuma, watermelon, pineapple

Haven't had either of my HEs yet. I will probably have a Muller Light after dinner, and have a bag of Milkybar buttons in the cupboard which I might eat tonight after DD is in bed. They are 8 syns.

muminthecity · 04/07/2013 21:45

The casserole was lovely, so lovely that I've just had seconds Grin. Will definitely make it again.

ch0ccy · 05/07/2013 05:54

Hello Peeps. I have just posted on blog3 and wondered if that has now finished? woops. I hope I am posting on the most up to date thread?
Anyway, my first post on here and am hoping to get back into SW just from reading some interesting posts about food and sin choices from other people:)

trinitybleu · 05/07/2013 10:26

I'm back again. OH and I have started talking weddings again (don't get too excited, this happens every couple of years Smile ) but don't want to be a fat bride so here we go ....

Fairygen · 05/07/2013 13:20

Hi all, just posted on old thread so sorry for repeating myself.
First weigh in last night and -3lbs following EE. Slightly disappointed because on red plan I can easily lose 5-6lbs the first week. I don't eat a lot of pasta, rice or pots so thinking about going back to red days and alternating red and EE weeks.

BethAndHerBrood · 05/07/2013 13:55

Dh and i went for a toby breakfast this morning! We tried to be as good as poss, no sausages, cut the bloody lovely crispy bit off the bacon, had loads of beans, 2 fried eggs, 2 hash browns and wholemeal toast. It was really good!

We're having a bbq tonight. Chicken and salad probably. If we can be arsed to go shopping for salad!

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/07/2013 15:22

A wedding??? Why only talking - just do it :)

Gained 2lbs but not surprised after all I ate last weekend when away

Huffpot · 05/07/2013 16:42

Hey all. Just checking in.

Will be expecting a gain next week as am off for a girls spa weekend tomorrow. My first child free night since before I dropped em Grin Lots of booze and food....will be lovely!

muminthecity · 05/07/2013 22:07

Have a great time Huffpot!

I started the day well but have been very, very bad this evening. DD was dropped home from a party this evening and party mum kindly brought me 2 slices of pizza and a big slice of birthday cake. I ate it all, then later had 2 slices of toast and jam Blush. Hoping I can undo the damage by Tuesday if I'm extra good all weekend!

trinitybleu · 05/07/2013 22:41

blondes I don't like to rush these things ... only been engaged 16 years. Try before you buy ... Grin

schooldidi · 05/07/2013 23:35

trinity Go for it. Who doesn't love a wedding? I'm trying before I buy too, dp and I have been together 7 years now, have a child together, mortgage, etc but have no intention of ever getting married. Why change something that's working? (I realise I have just given you advice I shall not be taking myself)

Huffpot have a fabulous time, don't worry about gaining a little bit, you'll get it off again the following week unless you are a complete glutton in which case it might take a couple of weeks.

WI tomorrow morning for me. I think it should be reasonably good, I feel like I've stuck to plan all week. I've had a couple of green days because I don't eat a massive amount of meat but would like to be able to eat a bit more cheese, which I am allowed on a green day due to having more Healthy extras. I'm missing the extra HEs that I had last time because I was bf then and am not now, just one extra was really nice and meant I could eat bigger portions of cheese with my jacket spuds.

holidaysarenice · 06/07/2013 12:07

If I haven't shifted something on monday I will cry....

I also need a nice gym?!

And I make the chicken tikka thing last night...yummy!!

roundabout1 · 06/07/2013 15:34

Hi guys - now this may be a stupid question but if I do diet coke pork rather than chicken, what is the best cut. I guess with chicken you stir fry the meat and then add to the sauce. Sounds yummy but I'm not a great chicken eater.
Also I at last found fat free fromage frais in the supermarket, they always seem to have run out. But now can't think why I wanted it, I think I was going to use for a dessert instead of yoghurt, is there anything it works really well with.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/07/2013 16:12

Half a pound off for me today. I'm disappointed that it wasn't more but looking at my food diary I can see where I went wrong. I didn't write down the "little bits" like finishing off dd2's dinner when she'd had enough (6 syns, taking me to 19 for that day) and eating the "spare" chocolates that had been prizes at school (16 syns when I looked them up, for 4 piddly little chocolates Shock), and a couple of hifi bars that I forgot about and ate toast as well.

So I'm now back to writing things down as I eat it, rather than trying to remember it later, cos I'm obviously rubbish at remembering what I've eaten.

doineedhelp · 06/07/2013 17:17

2lb off for me today.
I'm starting at the gym tomorrow and leader says I might sts for a couple of weeks until body adjusts, is that how it was for others on here?

B yogurt and fruit 2 hifi bars (heb) milk (hea)
L cous cous salad (toms, cuc, onion, sweetcorn, beetroot) tin of tuna, mullerlight
D salmon, salad, rice

Having bottle of rose wine tonight :) is that 27 syns?

TallyBear · 07/07/2013 00:22

Oh dear. Just had a rare night out with dh. Mum and dad came to stay this weekend and offered to babysit. After a day clearing the garage, as it was mostly dh's stuff and he hates throwing things out, I said he could pick where we ate. We ended up in Pizza Hut!! So today it was:

B: Banana, grapes and muller light
L: wholemeal roll with ham, tomatoes, cucumber and low fat crisps, nectarine
D: Salad bowl, 3 x chicken strips, 1 x garlic bread, salmon pasta bake, 1/4 bag peanut m&ms in cinema!!

Oops.

holidaysarenice · 07/07/2013 13:33

Are mullerlights free foods or just 0 syns?

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 07/07/2013 14:35

Ah, so this is where we all are!

I lost half a pound this week but am determined to lose more - back properly on plan and keeping an honest food diary. And actually enjoying every mouthful again, which is good.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/07/2013 21:35

well done bunch and ineedhelp

Welcome new people!

Well done on all the losses :)

I've been waaaaaayy off track since Wednesday! 3 course meals out, takeaways and randomly stuffing my face. I gave myself a good talking too yesterday, and I'm going to really give it my all from today. I'm going to the gym this morning then I'm going to come home and sit outside and read through all the books again, read the magazines I have and plan, plan, plan.

Huffpot · 08/07/2013 08:49

staggers in rubbing belly
I have returned from my spa weekend, 3 course meals and lots of wine so back on track

It was really lovely but felt like a baby elephant as other than one other person everyone else was wearing bikinis and they were all a max size 12!

I am going to keep that feeling in my mind and spur myself on a bit.

I know will definitely gain after it but am definitely back on track again

B: Poached eggs, banana, wedges and baked beans
L: Pasta or salad
D: Marinated chicken with salad and pasta

melliebobs · 08/07/2013 10:57
