I have been a bit up and down, but reasonably on plan, apart from an apple crumble session. But with putting on last week am not sure there will be a loss. I think my body is on go slow, and am trying stay up, as it is frustrating. I agree with Blonde huge weekly losses would not be right for me, I guess it depends on lots of variables.

Churmy123 · 15/10/2013 12:11

I maintained this week! So back to basics now. I want to get my two stone award before I go on my fitness weekend at the beginning of November.

BeauticianNotMagician · 15/10/2013 19:16

Hi can I join please. I had a baby 5 months ago and get married June 2014. I have 2 and a half stone to lose.

Since ds3 was born Ive tried weight watchers twice and I'm just too hungry on it which them makes me binge.

I went to my first SW class today Smile

Darkesteyes · 15/10/2013 21:23

10 and a half pounds off now. 3 and a half by myself and half a stone at Slimming World. Got my half stone award tonight. As well as Slimmer of the Week and Bronze Body Magic for my excersise.

I think my weight is now trying to catch up with my inches lost

I always seem to have my biggest loss when im on my * week Feeling more positive now.

Darkesteyes · 15/10/2013 21:28

beutician WW is shite i was hungry on it and im also dyscalculic so all the shite with the calculator was too much extra hassle.

Minimammoth · 15/10/2013 21:48

Down 2lbs. Plodding on.

pinkoneblueone · 15/10/2013 22:16

This week I've been really off plan but today have stuck to it I'm due to weigh in tomorrow night but can't make it a hubby is working away and I won't take my kids to group with me so i've booked a holiday. So one week to shed any gains I've made.

Fairygen · 16/10/2013 12:00

beautician, I did WW too about 10 years ago and lost over 2 stone. I was constantly starving, and put it back on really quickly! I also found all the counting a real pain.

BeauticianNotMagician · 16/10/2013 13:28

Glad I'm not the only one that found Ww too hard. Can't say I'm hungry at all I know its only day too but can't believe the amount I can eat. I have found a new love toffee mullerlights should I stick to one of those a day as I could quite easily have one after lunch and one after dinner Smile

BeauticianNotMagician · 16/10/2013 13:29

Two not too

Fairygen · 18/10/2013 07:23

Woohoo, I not deserved loss this week of 1.5 lbs! Really need to knuckle down this week. I've just started a new job so haven't been 100% on the plan, but haven't been too naughty either.

This week I need to plan more, instead of getting home in the evening, opening the fridge and thinking 'what the hell are we going to have for dinner'! Luckily the weather has been crap, perfect for sticking something in the slow cooker.

Well done on all the losses x

HalloweenDidi · 19/10/2013 11:00

I put on 3.5lbs this week Blush

I've had a really crap week and self-medicated with chocolate and crisps. My plan is to go back to basics, pretend this is my first week and try to get that gain back off for next week. I think I'll make egg and chips for lunch then a lasagne for dinner. If I can stay off the snacks I should be able to do it, hopefully.

MickleMe · 19/10/2013 12:45

I started Slimming World last week and had my first weigh in on Thursday...4lbs off Smile

I think it is finally dawning on my that this is the way I should be eating all the time and I can't just follow a diet to lose weight and then go back to the way I was before.

I just struggle with working full time and sorting out my 3 DCs and planning food. I feel ok with the plan at the moment and haven't cheated once which is unheard of for me. I have about 7 stones to lose so looks like i'm in it for the long haul!

pinkoneblueone · 19/10/2013 19:18

Had to weigh myself in boots this week (hubby has been working away this week) and I am now 11stone 13lb so that means this week I've lost 3 and 1/2lb off this week very happy with that as I've done a lot of cheating this week but have stuck to the plan really well at meal times but had more water and less carbs this week

Fairygen · 19/10/2013 19:50

Decided to sod it and have an Indian takeaway tonight. Chose really well, but had to have a peshwari naan (25 syns).

The delivery is always late so opened a bottle of wine, had a glass, then the delivery driver knocked at the door.....

I could have died! It was the man who goes to SW!!! Not only was i having a fattening meal, i probably stank of wine too!!! Now I HAVE to be good for the rest of the week, and totally honest when it's my turn to 'talk' at wi in thurs. BOLLOCKS!!!!

didi I put on 3.5lbs a couple of weeks ago. It's really hard to get back into it. Writing things down has helped me, even tonight. I know I have no syns left, instead of guessing! X

leobeebs · 19/10/2013 19:52

I've not long bought the sw books from ebay. Have been to a sw meeting long time ago and due to oh hours I can't find a meeting.

I would love to lose a stone by Xmas. I hate what I look like but I can't stop eating crap. Sweet stuff is my downfall. My meals are good always lots of veg. Breakfast is always cereal as cant bear to eat anything other than.

How can I stop myself shovelling I rubbish? I really want to lose this weight. I start off with good intentions then nom, nom. Nom go the biscuits.

Any help would be great.

MickleMe · 19/10/2013 20:13

Fairygen that is hilarious...hate the 'talk' bit and think the thought of having to explain a gain keeps me on track.

thonlassie · 20/10/2013 18:36

Can I join in? I've been reading on and off for a while but needing a bit of motivation. Have been at slimming world for 13 months, had lost 4st 10 and a half but in the space of the last 2 weeks have managed to put on 7lb - I had expected to put on a couple 2 weeks ago but nothing like this - so disappointed because I was so close to 5 stone. Have been really good this week, eating plenty but have decided to have a mostly syn free week - weigh in tomorrow so hoping for a loss!

Minimammoth · 21/10/2013 13:04

After children's birthday party involving cake and the like( you can't refuse can you) I thought I would be up today, but I am holding steady so far. It will probably all lump on in a couple of days. leobeebs does any situation or event draw you to the biscuits. Only answer for me would be put 'em in the bin now.

leobeebs · 21/10/2013 19:38

No mini. For some reason after dinner I can be full but I crave something sweet. I've tried fruit but it just doesn't hit the spot.

Minimammoth · 21/10/2013 20:28

Yes I know what you mean. What about those little mints with one cal.? I have those in the car and can make one last oooo at least a minute.

BeauticianNotMagician · 22/10/2013 17:00

So disappointing first weigh in this week and I lost 1/2 a lb. I feel so disheartened I've never lost such a small amount in the first week Hmm

Fairygen · 22/10/2013 19:17

Keep going beautician!! I was gutted my first week because I normally lose 5 or 6 lbs the first week of a diet. I think it sometimes takes a couple of weeks for your body to adjust.

My mum joined a few weeks ago and struggled because her diet didn't really change that much, she just had to cut down on cheese and weekend puddings. Now she's losing 1-3 lbs a week.

pinkoneblueone · 22/10/2013 20:56

Weigh in tomorrow I've blown the arse out if my diet the last few weeks so am expecting a gain

ShiftyFades · 22/10/2013 22:08

Weigh in today, 1.5lb (over 2 weeks) off. Really pleased as I've had a stressful time (DSis had tumour removed from face and best friend's dad's funeral), I allowed myself to eat chocolate a few times.

Anyway, it's taken 2 months of "slow & steady" and I reached my 7lb today GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Hope I can shift a full stone in time to put it back on for Christmas Wink
