Thank you for the smuffins recipe - I may give them a go though I'm not exactly salivating at the thought of using smash! Grin

Blondes - So sorry to hear about your mum. Fingers crossed all goes well for her and the chemo does its job.

I lost 1lb at WI tonight. I am quite pleased seeing as I was so bad at the weekend. Think my extra long session at the gym today must've done the job! (Though my legs are killing me now and I'm shattered! Early night tonight!)

Curlywurlysareyum · 18/06/2013 22:30

blondes so sorry about your mum. Thinking about you.

TheYoniExpress · 18/06/2013 22:38

I was going to ask about success express - it was referred to in my yellow book but can't find anything about it on the website (I am an online member)

Is there anything more to it Curly?

SalaciousCrumb · 19/06/2013 08:34

Yoni I remember being given a leaflet about success express. I think it is when you have 1/2 of your plate free veg etc not 1/3 at every meal. I'm going to ask about it later I'm off to group today.

I hope to have lost this week. All x'd.

I've just had a big breakfast of 2 eggs friend in spray oil, beans, mushrooms and toast (HE). Should do me until my break at work when I'll have HE ryvitas and cheddar.

HolidayArmadillo · 19/06/2013 08:51

Great weight losses this week everyone, hoping the vibes will pass on to me for wi tomorrow!
Have just been to Tesco and bought 1kg of strawberries! On offer for £3.50. Superspeed here we come!! Also saw the welsh guy from The Apprentice bizarrely!

Will let you know how I get on tomorrow Smile.

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 19/06/2013 22:23

Yay - 1.5lbs off.

And bought quiche ingredients tonight for tomorrow

TheYoniExpress · 19/06/2013 22:24

I've fought really hard today not to do my usual thing of getting a loss and then spoiling it all by celebrating Grin

So:

B - bacon (fat trimmed) on toast (HE), spread with tomato purée, and coffee
L - mugshot, diet coke and apple
D - pile of salad topped with smoked mackerel and prawns, followed by yoghurt

Snacks: fruit, min choc ice cream (estimate at 7 1/2 syns?!)

TheDetective · 19/06/2013 23:03

Excuse the swearing.... but my effing bastarding oven has packed in!!!!!

It's a grill/fan assisted oven. 6 weeks ago just after I started SW the grill broke - heating element. £70 to be fixed, and 5 days with no grill (and I use it loads on SW!).

Now it looks like the same for the oven!!!

I'd like to cry! We use the thing loads for SW stuff. I've got food in to make in the oven too! I could really have a temper tantrum over it!

Plus I'm short on funds for stuff like this right now!

So um,

B: 2 egg omelette, cheese (HEA), peppers, tomato, mushrooms.
L: Slice of quiche, bowl of SW tomato and basil soup
D: SW chips (not quite done enough before oven packed up!) and mushy peas, had to throw my roast veg out as didn't bloody roast!

Syns: 2 soleros Blush (5 each) 2 jaffa cakes. Also had 2 hi fi bars as HEB.

WI tomorrow....

melliebobs · 20/06/2013 07:18

Oh no detective that's crap. I know u said funds are low but is it worth getting a cheap George Forman? I've got the family one n use it all the time. Just grilled a chicken breast for lunch this morning Smile
