I didn't have anything to eat yesterday, apart from 2 slices of w/m toast last night about 10pm. I had a dodgy tum all day Sad

Today i've just made myself some soup, using peas and carrots left from one nights tea. I heated them up in some veg stock then blitzed them. Sprinkle of white pepper - lovely!

May have an omelette and beans for tea.

IsaacCox · 15/06/2013 13:39

I just have to share- I've just been shopping and tried on some jeans in a size down and.... they fit! And they're not even tight. Happy happy Grin

izzybizzybuzzybees · 15/06/2013 13:43

I've been good so far. Had muesli and almond milk as breakfast. Used my HexB choices to have big bowl (I'm BF so supposed to have a 6 Healthy extras! I never do tho!) then for lunch had two chicken thighs with skin removed with a massive plate of salad, free dressing and some mixed pickle and baby beetroots. Was yum! Dinner I have no idea. If I'm lucky will be Indian takeaway but I'll have chicken tikka with no sauce and boiled rice.

minibmw2010 · 15/06/2013 13:49

Just been for a Toby Carvery. It's almost like they knew I was coming and had new potatoes out instead of mash! No fat at all on my gammon or turkey and I also had lots of carrots & peas. I need to count syns for some butter on the potatoes and some stuffing but otherwise all good! Smile

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/06/2013 13:56

Mini - Be warned Toby puts butter in all veg - even carrots and peas / sounds healthy having roast dinner and veg but often is :(

Isaac - yah for smaller size jeans :)

Beth - sorry poorly :(

I was doing well yesterday until I had a Chinese blow out. I stopped counting syns once I hit about 30. Having said that I rarely have more than 5-7 syns per day as a rule so maybe it won't hurt too much. Syn free day today so far:

Alpen light bar for breakfast (HEXB)
Jacket potato, beans, bacon and a squidge of cheese (HEXA)

Indian takeaway for tea tonight but won't be going over my syns. Scales are definitely moving in the right direction. Fingers crossed for 3lb off this week.

Daisy1407 · 15/06/2013 14:27

Thanks for the pancake reciepe I'm gonna try Tomo morning I need to get some oats!

Today strawberries and fruit Fibre
Grapes
Now gonna munch on some carrots
Takeaway tonight x

Have a great day all x

HolidayArmadillo · 15/06/2013 14:31

Oh I tried one of those chocolate orange wotsit yogurts.lush.

onceipopicantstop · 15/06/2013 15:02

Went to bed early last night to avoid eating any more syns!! Really struggled yesterday for some reason. Bit better today. Not hungry at breakfast - am feeling a bit off today. So far
Large orange, yogurt (3 syns), very small piece of birthday cake and a bite of Flump(!) (ds has been to a birthday party!!). Planning Bolognese for tea (1 syn as added ketchup).

Fortunately the plate of cake for the adults didn't get to me or I suspect I would have been tempted!!

Have a good day everyone!

HolidayArmadillo · 15/06/2013 16:40

Why is salted popcorn more syns than sweet or toffee? Bah.

onceipopicantstop · 15/06/2013 18:04

That doesn't make sense HolidayArmadillo! But reminds me that I need to look up the syns for some flavoured popcorn I tried recently. It was yummy - salt and vinegar flavoured (I love salt and vinegar crisps!!) - I'm hoping it was relatively low in syns and a good alternative to cisps but suspect I may be disappointed...!!

Anyone know how many syns is popcorn if I make it myself? It's only dried corn isn't it? So if I used no or very little oil it should be pretty healthy??

IsaacCox · 15/06/2013 18:15

Not sure about popcorn, sorry Once.

Today has been good-
B- weetabix (HEA and B) clementine
L- chicken and bacon salad, free vinegarette
D- Just ordered an Indian takeaway- chicken dopiaza (7 syns) boiled rice (free) and Bombay potatoes (7 syns) not going to miss chips and naan at all, oh no!

Huffpot · 15/06/2013 18:26

onceipop the app says 25g popped without fat is 4.5 syns Smile

HolidayArmadillo · 15/06/2013 18:29

I'm sure I've seen popcorn without oil 4 syns somewhere. I've foregone the Indians tonight as I don't trust myself not to get a ridiculous amount of poppadoms and naan bread, so its chicken stir fry with sweet chilli sauce. 5 syns for the sauce.

onceipopicantstop · 15/06/2013 19:25

Thanks Huff. Will have to try that. Do you think it means 25g after its been popped or 25g dried corn?

Huffpot · 15/06/2013 19:36

I'd LOVE to think once popped but that seems too good to be true imagines piles of popcorn for 4.5syns so would say kernels

onceipopicantstop · 15/06/2013 20:06

Just looked online and it says 25g popped without fat so I think it is 4.5syns for the popped version?? That would be quite a lot of popcorn though GrinGrin

HolidayArmadillo · 15/06/2013 20:12

Surely popcorn is basically fresh air though? looks hopeful

minibmw2010 · 15/06/2013 20:37

Oh yeah and on the veg too but that's OK that's still not too bad.

MrsHelsBels74 · 15/06/2013 20:39

I've been saving my syns for a glass of wine, & now I've got a chance to have it I don't fancy it Shock. There's no chocolate in the house either Hmm

Huffpot · 15/06/2013 20:51

I'm confused about popped or unpopped...Hmm

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/06/2013 21:38

Sure would be popped and prob get a lot for 25g as so light

Averagely sweet seems to be 5 and salt 6 - which is weird

Where did you buy the salt and vinegar popcorn? Sure I had it years ago - love s&v things

OP posts:
melliebobs · 15/06/2013 22:20
