muminthecity · 13/06/2013 21:07

Well done to all the losers. I've been good today, went 2 syns over yesterday but did an hour in the gym so hoping it won't affect me too much!

B - Banana and satsuma
L - Large pack of sushi from Tesco (7 syns) plus salad with light mayo (2 syns,) muller light and a satsuma
D - Bacon and mushroom pasta bake made with passata, herbs and spices and some extra veg that needed using (peppers and courgettes) and topped with mozarella (HExA). Followed by a muller light and some pineapple.

Will have 2 rocky road hi-fi bars in a little while as my HExB.

Having a picnic with the children at school tomorrow so will take some leftover pasta with me and fruit. Then planning to do an hour or so at the gym before heading back to work.

Helllooo all! wine feels like first day at new school... Hello my name is (unpronouceable mumble) shuffles feet nervous cough...

Sooo, this is me - I'm now a sneaky SW'er blush went for years when I was a new mum but got too tired of thinking about food when I was soooo tired all the time... So, I got really quite too big (only5'5"), then a whole bunch of years went by (still stayed too big! And had a couple more kiddies!) though I did manage to lose nearly 5 stone doing the Idiot Proof Diet a couple of years ago - I look back wondering just WHERE I got the will power!! Honestly - NO carbs of any sort (I still can't face milk to this day! Yep, black coffee, no sugar..) then I thought I'd do just food combining (which is basically SW) but kept eating bloody rubbish sooo here I am (and my DD too, who's 11 and quite frankly a bit chubby a bit bigger than she should be, but whom we love regardless as she is amazing)...

But we are doing something about it, together! I've been struggling to lose my 'baby weight' for 12 years... This time I'm really keen to get back into my size 14's non comfy pants and some sexy undies! Which I did do, but there was a cruise and a few Christmases and some family get togethers a whole load of excuses and before I knew it 3 stone is now back on my bum.

I feel really inspired reading everyone elses comments and stories... Grin thank god your all human beings!! And here on MN!!

Thank you Daisy and Blondes bit of reassurance appreciated!
Lots of fruit today, eggs and beans on toast for breakfast, fruit and alpen light for lunch, and pasta with prawns, sweetcorn, runner beans and cherry tomatoes, all stirred through with half fat sweet chilli cream cheese for tea. Oh, and meringue with strawberrys and yoghurt for pudding. So 6.5 syns.
Fingies crossed!

Littlemousewithcloggson · 13/06/2013 21:51

Scrambled eggs and fat trimmed bacon for breakfast today with leftover Spanish chicken and syn free chips for lunch today followed by a tasty takeaway treat using syns for tea tonight. Yum. Scales showing a pound loss since Tuesday so heading in the right direction (I am becoming obsessed with the scales!)

Daisy1407 · 14/06/2013 11:02

OP posts:
Huffpot · 14/06/2013 11:47

The lemon ones are delish!

Hooray Blondes! 1lb is not to be sneezed at!

Off for a walk to look at e-readers later for my birthday and get some exercise as my eldest has impetigo so not going to our normal group till he's crusted up Confused

B: Apple, banana, pineapple
L: Pasta and salad
D: Home made burger, salad & SW chip
HEs: Milk and bread roll for dinner
Syns: Cheese, tomato sauce, sweet chilli sauce

IsaacCox · 14/06/2013 12:59

Well done losers! :)

Daisy, I'd go for a chicken tikka starter (one without sauce) and some plain boiled rice. Avoid creamy sauces, chips, naan bread etc.

B- boiled eggs and soldiers (HEB), clementines
L- broccoli and cheese pasta n sauce made up then with added roasted butternut squash, jalapenos, bacon and cheese (HEA) then baked until the cheese has melted, watermelon
D- Butterflied chicken breast with spices on, roast veg and salad

MrsHelsBels74 · 14/06/2013 14:11

I'm in love with the muller light orange with chocolate sprinkles yogurts! Chocolate & syn free, what more could you want?

SalaciousCrumb · 14/06/2013 14:24

All going well since I joined a group. Thanks Isaac for your comment a long way up thread somewhere, I counted 13 weeks till my niece's wedding I would like to lose 2 stone by then

Hope it will.not be too slowed down by a big birthday in 3 weeks time!

IsaacCox · 14/06/2013 14:42

Love those Mullers MrsHelsBels. You've also just reminded me I have a coconut one to try in the fridge.

Ooh, so that'll be just a tiny bit over 2lbs a week then, Salacious. Fingers crossed for you :)

melliebobs · 14/06/2013 15:04

Is it only muller lights and 0% fat natural yoghurt that are Syn free? Are there any others out their in yoghurt land!?

Just got in from work n I'm STARVING. I've had an apple, a chicken drumstick n 2 lychees. Still peck ish Shock

Huffpot · 14/06/2013 15:12

Choc orange mullers sound nice...I haven't seen them

Melliebobs the WW dessert ones are free and lovely - I prefer them to the Mullerlights (other than the Greek ones)

Daisy1407 · 14/06/2013 15:13

thanks gang for the alpen info and takeaway tips :)

izzybizzybuzzybees · 14/06/2013 16:37

Are the orange and choc mullers free? I thought they had syns!

I've been for lunch today at frankie and bennys so not more syns for me. I had penne arribiata as it's a tomato sauce so figure not too bad? However I did have cinnamon waffles! Bad buzzy!

melliebobs · 14/06/2013 16:54

Finally sorted out my hunger pangs. After a bit of playing on the Internet I found out how to make SYN FREE CRISPS!!!!!! A revelation Grin

onceipopicantstop · 14/06/2013 17:24

Sooo hungry today. Have already succumbed to a bag of quavers and a gingerbread man so I'm guessing that's 15 syns easily. I knew this lack of hunger wouldn't last! Am really craving something sweet but trying to remind myself how much I always regret it afterwards if I overindulge!
