Dakota Johnson Sleeps for 14 Hours a Night

Dakota Johnson recently gave an interview where she says she sleeps for 14 hours a night, does transcendental meditation twice a day and has a lot of baths - especially if she feels anxious. She doesn't eat breakfast (just a latte or something) and works out a lot, strength training and pilates.

I wonder what time she goes to bed and what time she gets up? Does anyone on here sleep for more than 8 hours a day? Anyone up to the challenge of trying? What do you make of this?

She never said she sleeps 14 hours a night though. Why are people acting like she does.

She sleeps different amounts depending on her work schedule.

If she can take a bath in the middle of the day and wants to she will.

She meditates.

She also talks about her battle with depression since she was 15 which she discusses as well.

OP you really should have quoted her properly if you were going to start a thread and have people bash her.

Most people aren’t bashing her at all. They are talking about their own sleeping habits, which I find interesting. Especially the people who sleep late. They’ve given me ideas and I am grateful for that.

Well if she really sleeps that much, of course she doesn’t eat breakfast as she’ll be asleep through it.

I get around 6 hours if I’m lucky, unless I’ve taken Night Nurse.
am always tired. Combination of stress, ADHD, perimenopause and cats who want breakfast at 5am.

I would say 14 hours a night of sleep is not good for you. No wonder she doesn't eat breakfast, she'll not be awake for it.

I used to sleep that amount pre children. I did have a heart problem though which wasn’t diagnosed until my late 20’s.

My daughter slept through the night from 3 weeks old and still needs 12 hours of sleep at 11yo. I imagine she could happily slumber for 14hrs each night if she didn't have school tbh.

My son is the same. As a teenager when left he can sleep 16 hours. Slept through from 2 weeks old.

I don't mind sounding smug here as my daughter didn't sleep longer than 50 mins at a time until she was about 4... just to balance it out. Hellish. As a teenager now it's unusual for her to sleep more than 8/9 hours at a weekend.

Maybe she is actually a cat?

Maybe she is actually a cat?

She does have a rather cute feline appearance. Lucky her.
