I've started a couple of other posts re this - I'm now confused as to whether to start sleep training or not and whether its teething, growth spurt etc etc

SO - quick question....

DID YOUR LO SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT AT 6 MONTHS? By sleep through I mean 7/8pm until at least 5am??

Yes or No would be great along with times....

milkmoustache · 07/03/2008 18:13

Yes - I think 8pm - 7am.

motherinferior · 07/03/2008 18:14

denbury · 07/03/2008 18:14

ds1 yes ds2 was having open heart surg and we still have sleeping probs with him

Niecie · 07/03/2008 18:15

No

DS1 was 10 months before he did
DS2 was 8 months.

CorrieDale · 07/03/2008 18:15

Much hollow laughter from the CorrieDor.

No for DS. Can't tell you how often we were up a night with him - minimum of 3 I should think. For more than 20 minutes at a time.

No for DD. Again, usually 3 x a night, but only for 6 minutes at a time.

mammyofET · 07/03/2008 18:31

No - and even now it's only every now and then (he's 17 months).

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 07/03/2008 18:32

DS slept through from 14 weeks, but I did lift him for a dreamfeed at 10.30.

MillieMummy · 07/03/2008 18:34

DD - didn't until about 8 months but pretty good since then.
DS (AKA the angel) went from 7-6 from about 11 weeks.

There were some differences - he was a bottle fed baby, but I don't think that was the reason why.

OoTaLcYoO · 07/03/2008 18:38

No, dd1 started sleeping through age 7.
No, dd2 started at age 3.
Both have night terrors.

hotCheeseBurns · 07/03/2008 18:40

No, but I got him sleeping through at 8 months when it became necessary.

saggers · 07/03/2008 18:40

livvylouis · 07/03/2008 19:31

No DD about 17 months and DS 7 months and no luck yet.

ratbunny · 07/03/2008 19:35

mine did, on his 6mo 'birth'day iyswim. from 7 - 7 (ish), but I did do cc to stop his nightwakings, and stopped the dreamfeed when we workied out he was having twice the amount of milk he was meant to be taking in a day, with half of it at night . luckily it only took 1 night..

tinytotmummy · 07/03/2008 19:37

DS - yes, from 6pm - 5am
DD1 - yes, from 6.30pm - 7am
DD2 - not looking likely. At 5m wakes up once for 20m from 7pm - 7am

PuppyMonkey · 07/03/2008 19:40

Yes, by six months for both dd1 and dd2... but we did some... "persuading"... for dd2 and it was horrid for three nights.... but then it wasn't any more. Have never looked back! And we're all much happier...

ThingOne · 07/03/2008 19:41
