MNHQ, a word in your shell-like please - about these pro-BNP threads... consider this a petition

hasn't this gone far enough? these threads are being allowed to stand which considering the "policies" of the BNP and the views expressed by "activists" is appalling. yes, free speech is wonderful, but some of these threads can be seen as inciting racial hatred, there are many, many, disablist, homophobic, racist remarks made and implied and they always go the same way. the threads are started to cause a bunfight. the BNP will not get anymore supporters on here, so why be deliberately controversial?

mn is a self-moderated site. this is great and one of the reasons i use it. however, the mners are now moderating and saying that we have had enough. we have complained a LOT about this type of thing - please take note!

i never really made teh connection until now really, between those wind up threads and her entire M.O in MN ,whn you see it in front of you, it is impossible to give the benefit of the doubt . she has been trolling since day 1

OK...I've had enough of this.

I have never denied I was Talulasmum, that info was even on my DP profile for months. Loads of people on here know it. I can't see what it has to do with anything? I was still being called TM up until about a yr ago. This has now become an almost out of control attack on me, and there are a few people who really need to take a step back and let this lie. The personal attacks on me are becoming quite frightening and I will respond. If I took the time to trace back certain individuals and everything they have said to me, all the personal insults, the attacks directed purely at me, I could come up with enough to make them look pretty awful. I wont do that.

From now on, I will be reporting any personal attack on me, and bringing up threads from almost 3 yrs ago, and linking them on here purely to attack me is totally out of order.

That's hardly news is it, I am just sick of people thinking they can say anything they damn well like to me. The persoanal attacks are getting worse, and if I took the time to report all of them I'd never get off MN. Personal attacks are not allowed, so why are people doing it ? over and over again ?

I do want to get along, which is exactly why I said I would take a step back for a while, but there has to be some sort of meeting in the middle...if people keep this going, (and one or two seem determined), it will never end...

exactly, my mother taught me to treat others as i would be treated myself, never say anything unless you are prepared to hear it back and you have proven that you are more than happy to give it, but unable to accept it. its not nice to be on the recieving end is it?

DP....if you are right that your previous name has always been in the public domain, then how does my linking two threads on which you appear a personal attack? I just don't get it. I searched your name thinking I would find ordinary, boring posts about nonsense but was quite shocked to see the way you started off on here.

Saying that what you do is wicked, is not an attack on your person or character. It is an attack on your actions.

But report away, and honestly I don't wish you to feel bad. I really don't, I know how upsetting it can be to get flamed on here, I've been through it.

What I would like is for yout o quit posting like a spoilt child, and start taking some social responsibility on this forum. You appearto show no intention of doing this despite several empty promises through the years, and therefore I don't understand how we can come to any kind of compromise.

But linking to some threads from 3 years ago isn't attacking you, it is just reminding people of how you behaved in the early days, in case they thought your recent stuff was just a blip. They could easily have found it themselves. And the words that are there, which seem so strongly to condemn your entire ethos for being here, are nobodys but your own.

this is about the 4th thread ive seen that baits ONE poster. if you dont like her views ignore them, but imo the baiting and insults to DP on these threads are worse than the stuff she says by a long mile.

its like lord of the bloody flies in here sometimes. people need to get a grip - how is hounding one poster off the site going to change her opinions? people are not stupid - they can make up their own mind about what DP says - but i think the way she is spoken about is pretty vile and doesnt show mumsnet in a good light at all.

I am not going to report you, I haven't reported anyone on this thread. I hate reporting people, I feel like a complete grass and that makes me feel sick. I have only ever reported a few posts, 2 because they were so bad I just couldn't have them left on MN, and I reported 4 posts from namechangers (about 3 weeks ago) who had n/c to attack me, I wouldn't have bothered, but they were insane tbh, and kept linking me pitures of dolls with pink hair....quite worrying really....have the balls to attack me in your own name, I'll have more respect for you.

I'm not overly bothered about being "outed" as TM, it wasn't a secret, people look back on the MCB threads and laugh more than anything... they were hardly mega controversial....all the same, I didn't really want them linked on here....but let's forget about it.

I've been told things off board by a few M'netters they deffo wouldn't want posted on here. I know someone on MN who had to namechange,...I would never "out" her...even though those past loyalties have been tested to the limit. Anything that I have been told off MN will stay off MN, no matter how those people treat me now. If I was a troll I wouldn't give a toss would I.

The name is mine...I changed it a while ago, during the post election fallout and I haven't changed it in order to attack you or comment on you or any of that. This is my name at the moment and it was changed because of other stuff. So please take my comments as genuine; I have no wish to reveal whom I used to be, as it isn't widely known.
