not allow anything with mum, mummy, mama, dad, dadda, gramps etc because they annoy the crap out of me for being too twee.

also anything with random numbers at the end because they are pointless.

TIA

Hallo agus fàilte HebrideanMum

Mamazon · 29/09/2009 20:11

Peggoty. i agree. i dont think anyone has ever considered Scottishmummy to be warm and fuzzy, well not unless you would consider a rottweiler with a barb wire coller and bad attitude the same way

scottishmummy · 29/09/2009 20:13

what a deliciously obtuse post.more please.do elucidate

PinkTulips · 29/09/2009 20:14

well noone can beat mine for twee and fluffy

really need to do something about that as i'm really not in RL... rather pierced and rock chick actually, the pink tulips were my first mothers day gift... that i bought myself because dp was an arse

HebrideanMum · 29/09/2009 20:15

your posting style is far from fluffy bunnies and magic wands Scottishmummy.

You are well known for your more, shall we say, aggressive posting style.

peggotty · 29/09/2009 20:19

SM's not bad, just forceful and opinionated. And Scottish.

scottishmummy · 29/09/2009 20:19

yes thanks that really adds some gravitas and umm clarity

scottishmummy · 29/09/2009 20:21

we go to mull frequently.love it

AnnTwacky · 29/09/2009 20:22

Is elucidation necessary? Some rottweilers are lovely though. Or am I mixing them up with Staffies.

preciouslillywhite · 29/09/2009 20:24

Scottishmummy - we go to Mull every year - are you a North of the Island or a Ross person

scottishmummy · 29/09/2009 20:31

scottishmummy · 29/09/2009 20:33

EccentricaGallumbits · 29/09/2009 20:36

oh bollocks.

it appears there are far far too important people here to ban the names with mum in.

as you were.

I'm going to sulk now.

This is the second thread I've posted on asking if we can have a list of nicknames that have been taken so we don't offend other MNers by using a very similar name. Does anyone know if this possible?

Please?

EccentricaGallumbits · 29/09/2009 20:41

and i was feeling much more stroppy and argumentative earlier on having just shat in my own pants.

i'm feeling much better now and don't really give a flying feck what you all call yourselves.

thehairybabysmum · 29/09/2009 20:41

What about me....Ive never done twee and ive met squonk and kathyis6incheshigh at a meet up, that must count for something surely!!

Plus my babies were hairy, see profile pics!!

Mamazon · 29/09/2009 20:42

you cannot have a nick name that has already been used, even if it is no longer in use.

scottishmummy · 29/09/2009 20:43

hirsute babies, the name is factual it stays.bonnie weans btw
