Should mumsnet be moderated?

Is it maybe time for mumsnet to get a few moderators on board?

Sorry, 1 more against moderators here. I do think that in the main we moderate it well... though obviously it does break down at times.
It is extremely unfortunate that when the system fails it hurts people but I think moderation, by posters at least, would create more problems than it would solve.

Well, EachPeach, I have a few options:

1. Stamp my little feet, throw my rattle out of my pram and develop an attitude saying everybody else are wrong;

1. Be happy there is a consensus!

We all do a great job of making sure things dont get out of hand.
There are times when some people get personal and carry their own issues over onto other threads. Which happened to me years ago. However I just stopped going on the threads were that particular poster was. Simple.

We are all adults and so should be able to moderate ourselves.
