This Morning want a couple of Mumsnetters to appear with Carrie and Justine next week... anyone fancy it?

ITV's This Morning programme have invited me and Justine on to talk about the Toddlers book and want to also invite a couple of Mumsnetters to talk about how they got into Mumsnet and what Mumsnet means to them etc.

The date will probably be 4th or 5th Feb, they will need us between 9.30 and 12 and are prepared to pay travel expenses.

Anyone out there interested in snuggling up on the sofa? If you are, please put a bit of blurb about yourself here - how many children you have/how old, how you got into Mumsnet and what it means to you etc - so This Morning can decide who they might fancy inviting. If you do volunteer we may have to pass your email details on to This Morning, in case they want to chat to you, so shout now if you'd rather we didn't do that.

Thanks,

MNHQ

Hi all

This Morning will make ultimate decision on which Mumsnetter they like the sound of but we're still waiting on confirmation of the day they want to do, which we know is crucial for some of you.

We should know more tomorrow when we've spoken with them and will report back.

Thanks to all the volunteers - wish you could all come - we need all the help we can get

Oh Shizer, I will be working, I will miss it all.

Lemontart · 02/02/2009 09:49

Ooooh looked here to see who was going to be on the show. getting very impatient and admittedly rather excited about it.
Just posted a note to my line manager type blokey to not bother phoning me on either of those mornings as I am in meetings
(he knows I work from home and will presume I am having girly coffee mornings again, but that is fine )

I am really excited for you all and whoever gets picked I am sure it will be a huge amount of fun. Mumsnet is a very special place and I am sure you will find the words to do it justice.

Good Luck Justine and chosen guest(s)

I still have no idea who the so-called Moldies are.

I still cannot see who has left... well apart from Cod.

Marina - tick
Blu - tick
Carmenere - tick
Hunker - tick

Or is it that the Mouldies have not left but they have set up their own website to use as well as using this one?

Confused

always

mollyroger · 02/02/2009 10:01

all the moldies? who? I thought people said there were hundreds of them. How can you tell?
can't we move on from this?

Wow 100's of them.

Oh okay.

I thought they had left here to start afresh but hey ho, whatever.

Lemontart · 02/02/2009 10:42

Kerry - loads of people posted on here and was/is not obvious to me re. "pack moldies lot". Bit confused now and refuse to go looking through the thread trying to "spot the moldie". I do wonder though whether your posts mentioning pack moldies on this thread are going to fan the flames of witch hunting again though

(not sticking up for them, just really can?t stand the moldie stuff any longer. Almost left over it as mumsnet became too depressing a read for a while. Thought we were over the worst and now I wonder if it will always haunt this site..)

piratecat · 02/02/2009 10:49

it would be rather weird tho if the who someone were picked, to represent this site was actually someone who has left tho, or who doesn't participate fully.
