This Morning want a couple of Mumsnetters to appear with Carrie and Justine next week... anyone fancy it?

ITV's This Morning programme have invited me and Justine on to talk about the Toddlers book and want to also invite a couple of Mumsnetters to talk about how they got into Mumsnet and what Mumsnet means to them etc.

The date will probably be 4th or 5th Feb, they will need us between 9.30 and 12 and are prepared to pay travel expenses.

Anyone out there interested in snuggling up on the sofa? If you are, please put a bit of blurb about yourself here - how many children you have/how old, how you got into Mumsnet and what it means to you etc - so This Morning can decide who they might fancy inviting. If you do volunteer we may have to pass your email details on to This Morning, in case they want to chat to you, so shout now if you'd rather we didn't do that.

Thanks,

MNHQ

MrsSeanBean · 30/01/2009 12:06

boco always lowers the tone

I envisage Justine and Carrie reading this thread and others in exasparation. They are the parents, we're the badly behaved children and Time out just isn't working. I reckon we've probably aged them more than their own children!

Kerrymum - I am back, the doctor says it is psychological . So I am now feeling like a hypochondriac freak, and still cannot breathe properly

MamaG · 30/01/2009 12:50

I can see it now

Philip "so tell me DylansMummy2008, what do you like about MN?"

Dylansmummy2008 "I can tell you what I DON'T like - the new format, I want MN classic back, there are 30 million "hide" words at hte top of the screen, its the wrong colour and I don't like that beating heart"

Justine

Brilliant. Wednesday and Thursday are my days off.

You'd be pig sick to be invited on This Morning only to find out you've got the humourless and insipid Ruth.

ruty · 30/01/2009 13:18

I called Jeremy Kyle something very bad and then withdrew it [coward]

MrsSeanBean · 30/01/2009 13:23

Ruty! So you did. It wasn't that bad, and I think you could have argued your case.

ruty · 30/01/2009 13:27

the first bit maybe Mrs SB...

are you still looking for people? i'd do it. am off work next week so no problem. you want me to bring my toddler (dd 2.7) or not really? is it mainly going to be to do with the toddler book? er..i'm 28. what else do you need to know? mn has helped me through pregnancy, introduced me to treasure baskets, blw, alfie kohn..all kinds of wanky things like that that i love. oh, and it helped me through a missed misacarriage and then molar pregnancy, so i can talk about stuff like that too if you like
