but I would be grateful if you could tell me that you have at least given serious consideration to banning the posters who were harrassing her.

Thank you.

"I did actually join the thread to criticise a boycott of Israeli produce, not to have a go at the Rev.

then her dh called someone a bitch.
and things got heated."

Sorry Enid, that's just not true. Her dh didn't just come on and out of nowhere, call someone a bitch. He did so because the unpleasant and entirely unprovoked attack on his wife was already well underway.

tortoiseshellWasMusicaYearsAgo · 20/01/2009 17:00

It should also matter to MNHQ, given the issues about who is responsible for text published on the internet.

no. that's a group set up by those who were upset at not being invited to join moldies. Another invitation only group, set up by the posters who were upset at some posters starting an invitation only group.

morningpaper · 20/01/2009 17:04

YES A DEACON IS A REVEREND

(and this music part is BORING)

soapbox · 20/01/2009 17:04

Arf - so the anti-moldies have got their own gathering ground where they co-ordinate their anti-moldie postings - oh the hypocrisy!

how embarassing

wannaBe · 20/01/2009 17:06

no idea as I've not been invited to join.

onebatmother · 20/01/2009 17:07

Don't be facile. It was a joke site set up by Custardo with IRONY to make a comment on the ridiculousness of the existence of Moldies.

daftpunk · 20/01/2009 17:07

they should stay off mn...what's wrong with that?...solves all problems.

wannaBe · 20/01/2009 17:07

fio why have you not been on msn lately?

And do you have facebook yet?

onebatmother · 20/01/2009 17:08

It wasn't his fault MP, I think the Head of the Senate chap said "faithfully" in the wrong place and it threw him - he obviously knows it by heart and had a mometary "do I say what he said or what is correct" wobble.

I did love the way his wife's face started to crumple with tears of joy.

I like her outfit FWIW - I can't wear yellow but it looks fab on her.

No I won't apologise as I do not have the first clue if anyone on this site is who they say they are or whether anything they say is actually the truth.
By Swedes on Tue 20-Jan-09 15:20:17
MrEniddo - it is Mumsnet etiquette to apologise if you are wrong. In this case, you were not only wrong but also very unkind.

I think you should apologise.

Dear Rev,

I am sorry for doubting that your family died in the Holocaust and that you are not a Rev. And that you are your dh.

Love,

Enid

Blimey Aretha sounded ropey.

They should have asked Mavis Staples.

onebatmother · 20/01/2009 17:11

Gosh 'full measure of happiness' is lovely.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 20/01/2009 17:12

I said my marriage vows perfectly, now I'm getting divorced. Means nowt.

It was quite endearing.
