If everyone has been sat chatting cosily, and someone wants to invite A... C says they fell out with A over something.

Does it really make more sense to you to upset C who has been sat there minding her own business, to invite in A who wasn't playing in the first place?

Flamespar · 06/01/2009 20:53

Yes, we are all grown ups and can tolerate each other, but if we don't have to?

chipmonkey · 06/01/2009 21:02

But A only wasn't playing because she didn't know the game was on.

allnewcontrolfreaky · 06/01/2009 21:04

is that "A" for algy, bob's friend??

FairLadyRantALot · 06/01/2009 21:05

lol

morningpaper · 06/01/2009 21:07

I think Algy knew exactly was game was on if you know what I mean

Flamespar · 06/01/2009 21:09

knew I should've used different letters.

It doesn't matter why A isn't playing, if A was there first then she may well have not wanted C to come for exactly the same reason

Flamespar · 06/01/2009 21:10

For all we know A could have been off doing unmentionables with J and the riding crop

algyfromthepub · 06/01/2009 21:11

i've always been a bit of a goer me. just ask bob.

coppertop · 06/01/2009 21:11

So the problem was that Bob had been doing his 'bobbing' on the wrong person?

Ah, I see...

FairLadyRantALot · 06/01/2009 21:13

rofl

so funny...what with someone on namethread asking about Algernon...

Flamespar · 06/01/2009 21:13

Do we know if Bob shagged Alg's wife whilst they were married? It could be that they did it as teenagers and he is just being all precious about it - could be a whole AIBU situation

chipmonkey · 06/01/2009 21:13

Flame, what happened to the end of your name?

ClarissimoUsedToBePeachy · 06/01/2009 21:13

No CT it was that bob had kept it quiet when doing hids thang because he thought it was kinder to Algy

Whilst Algy in turn was laid out in the pub under an optic of JJD thinnking Bob was his Uncle and the price is right

Is that it?

ClarissimoUsedToBePeachy · 06/01/2009 21:14

CM the name shop was close so she had to pop to the local cornershop instead

Isn't that it erm, SPar?

Flamespar · 06/01/2009 21:14

Ah, christmas with the inlaws - MIL apparently has some sort of memory loss (it must be that and not just being annoying ), and missed off the last 2/3 letters of each of our names for the entire stay.

I have never been a Chris. I hate it.

Flamespar · 06/01/2009 21:15
FairLadyRantALot · 06/01/2009 21:17
