In a flurry of forward planning we're thinking ahead to January and would like to know your New Year resolutions (as long as they don't include spending less time on MN ). Thank you in advance.

To keep in touch with friends.
To make DCs laugh at least once every day (and with a 12 yr old that's not easy)
To keep the shower spotless.
To use my hair dye BEFORE the grey comes through.
To lose 10% of my body weight.
To stop being scared of stuff.
To be more realistic .

pucca · 06/12/2008 00:35

Lose weight and get back to a size 10/12.

To be a better mum.

To be happy, as i am pretty unhappy atm.

thexmasstockingmonsterofdoom · 06/12/2008 12:50

lose weight
stop smoking
get a job (if I can afford it )
do something really fun with dc every day.

Nappiesgalore · 06/12/2008 20:15

's just more pressure innit?
bugger that for a game of soldiers.

NotanOtter · 06/12/2008 21:10

( excludes doing up of kitchen )

KayHarkerTheHeraldAngelsSing · 06/12/2008 21:11

I am going to spend more time on MN.

I am going to spend more time sans children.

I am going to learn to drive.

I am going to write a Mills and Boon novel for a laugh.

  1. clear out all clutter & unused junk, clothes, toys, etc from house, even though I loathe waste;
  1. finally get my WW lifetime membership (hmm);
  1. go to yoga classes at least once a week;
  1. find paid employment;
  1. limit self to 2 units alcohol/day!

not to let my DCs watch as much tv

to take my DS to more playgroups

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 07/12/2008 18:57

find a house to live in
bring my children up using my values not ones forced on me by over the top friends and relatives
potty train my nearly 3 yr old
smile more

cariboo · 11/12/2008 00:52

After the year we've had, growing a little hemp plant is looking more & more appealing instead of appalling. Dunno, tho'. Hate to be locked up for a lousy plant (just 1, mind!)

  1. Find a new part time or work from home job
  2. Spend more time on the Wii Fit
  3. Eat less crap
  4. Don't buy any clothes except from charity shops & eBay.
  5. Spend less money

Try and do something about my job and the ridiculous situation which means that I can't progress without really sacrificing my home life.
