Honest to god if I accidentally open that SHEIN advert once more

You only have to BREATHE in the same direction as the SHEIN avert as you’re reading a thread and it bloody hysterically inserts itself and you into a new tab. I hate it! Other adverts don’t react like this so why do they have to?

Yes, far too sensitive. It’s always a Shein ad, not necessarily the same one.

I just moaned at dp about this yesterday! I think it's because it leaps straight to the shein app as well and it takes and age to get off it and back to Mumsnet. None of the other ads do this.

Yep, I’ve just done it twice in five minutes. It’s far too sensitive and very annoying, as well as being a horrible company.

I thought it was my fat fingers - you have to be So Careful not to brush the edge of the Shein advert when scrolling on the app, or you’re suddenly faced with the ad opening in your browser, close the ad, go back to Mumsnet - really tedious.

Same!! It drives me insane. Especially if im on my phone in bed at night and its so bright. Then you try to close it and end up clicking on it again.

Install DuckDuckGo on your computer or phone, use MN from it, problem solved.

Ok I was on a thread. NO shein advert visible at all and it opened up.
I scrolled up the page towards the top of the screen and there was a shein advert. I absolutely definitely did not accidentally click on it as it was not visible on the screen. iPhone 15.

And Beaverbrooks. Has the opposite effect on me - makes me feel like I would never buy anything if they were the last places on earth. Though to be fair I already feel like that about Shein/Temu etc

Not on here but I have the same problem with the shein ad when I use Moovit! It's so annoying!
Every other ad you can X out of, but you press X to X out of the shein ad and for some reason it takes you onto shein!! So annoying!!

And me! It’s the only ad that does this. Nasty pile of rubbish too
