Honest to god if I accidentally open that SHEIN advert once more

You only have to BREATHE in the same direction as the SHEIN avert as you’re reading a thread and it bloody hysterically inserts itself and you into a new tab. I hate it! Other adverts don’t react like this so why do they have to?

Morning, everyone. We've blocked the latest Shein ad that was being reported here. Hopefully that will sort the issue, but if anyone else sees it happening again, please take a screenshot and post it here and we'll get onto it asap.

@HebeMumsnetthis issue is back with the Shein advert, perhaps even worse than previously. It's driving me nuts!

Use duckduckgo for your browser. Then you don't see ads. You have to change your username in incognito mode in a different browser though. Problem solved.

Yep it's already happened to me once this morning. Hate Shein with a passion, absolutely do not want to visit their site !

I don't want to do that really. This place is here because of advertisers and I'm too tight for premium.

Tbf I'm getting utterly haunted by temu on YouTube atm. I've come off it on a huff. Not interested in buying anything from these places but they're so aggressive.

Remember the saying if you don't have to pay for the product you are the product. Revenue streams go much beyond click through advertising. Also duckduckgo filters ads from being seen but not from the browser showing the ad

Thanks for letting us know about this. If possible screenshots would be helpful so that we can work out if this is all coming from the same ad, or all Shein ads.

Also, it would be good to understand if this happening on the App, Desktop or Mobile web. If anyone spotting these ads can give us this information that would be a great help, too. Thank you!

Now it's the DHgate ads. Screenshot attached, on the app. It is so sensitive I barely skim by it and it's opening a new window every single time 🤯

I'm not sure why you're accepting ads from a site that sells knock off / fake goods anyway.
