Please remove me from the infinite scroll test group.

Can I please be removed from the test group and have my account moved back to the paginated version? I really dislike the infinite scrolling, it makes it much harder to navigate the threads and means I end up leaving threads and not engaging with the site. I would have appreciated a heads up that I was being placed in a test group and how to opt out instead of being left to struggle with a frustrating and unnecessary change.

Hi again, we'll get these last few requests actioned as soon as possible.

What with the new "colour refresh" update making the site much more difficult to read, if Mumsnet does make infinite scrolling compulsory, I'll be closing my account after more years than I care to count and I'm quite sure I won't be alone in doing so. How to wreck something that has worked so well for so long...

Please remove me from this group - in fact, just listen to the hundreds of people telling you it’s a terrible idea and scrap it!

I guess this test must be over. I didn't realise it was deliberate, I thought something was wrong with the site.

Please leave me out of any future test group for this, it drove me mad, and the thought of it ever being compulsory fills me with dread.

It’s been driving me so mad I was thinking of cancelling my subscription.

And can I please return to seeing my own post and the OP posts in different colours? Just having a small label on them is not helpful and I am struggling.

I can see my choices still show on my account in settings but not on the pages.

The site has become so irritating to use now I don’t want to pay for it anymore.

I had already been forced to subscribe in order to avoid the gigantic adverts which made pages constantly freeze and then locked up my ipad even if I closed the page.

Now that I am paying I had expected the site to be easily used and it was until these recent changes.

Why did you change it?

Hi there @Mrsmunchofmunchington. Sorry to hear you're not enjoying the new look. If you’d prefer, you can still customise colours under Settings > Talk settings and choose how your own posts and threads by author are displayed.

We've also added those last few requests to the list to be removed from Infinite Scroll.

@HebeMumsnet I made my request twice before your last post, but I’m still doom scrolling 😭 Please can you add me to the exclusion list?

@Mrsmunchofmunchington You should be able to just go into settings and click on the dropdown menus for 'highlight own posts' and 'highlight posts by author' and change the colours there. You then need to scroll down and click 'save settings'. If you're still having trouble could you hit the report button on your post on this thread and we can have a chat off the boards and get this sorted for you hopefully.

@HaveItOffTilICough - we're sorry about this. There seems to be a glitch somewhere as we've definitely removed you more than once. We're looking into this right now.

I don't know if I've suddenly been added to the Infinite Scroll group - but my scroll bars have suddenly stopped working properly. I can only navigate using my mouse scroll button. :( If this is because of Infinite Scroll - please can I be removed from the group. TIA.

Edited to add: Actually it turned out to be because of one of the annoying pop-ups. So please ignore the request.
