Thread Deleted ( Parts 1,2,3, and 4)

I saw that thread 4 was deleted with the message
about breaking Mumsnet guidelines.
The 3 previous threads were deleted too.

Which guidelines were broken?

I commented on the Air Wrap thread upthread, it actually came to a positive conclusion and then ended naturally so was probably true.

No one's commenting on that thread anymore and op has not been back. I think that speaks volumes

Perhaps they realise they were a bit too hasty in making another thread so soon after. If it’s them of course.

I think this feeds into OP's query about the inconsistency of when posts are deleted, kept, even moved to classics? Does that happen?

The whole thing has been a useful reminder that not every thread is what it seems, but it really has put me off posting, I'm finding. Still there's always the shopping threads.

Being on the receiving end of seeing those images, I’d rather they delayed until it was fixed properly.

I wasn’t the person who was PMed, I was the person who saw it on the original thread at night, and then had more of them posted on the thread that I created to report them.

But regardless, my point was just that’s why PMs have been disabled, and presumably why it’s taking them a while to fix that. Also, I’m not sure why it matters whether the person was expecting a link or not. Best not to click on links, but it’s not her fault she was sent it. Anyway, that was my reason for posting.

I fell for it too stupidly. Honestly thought I was a bit more switched on. I think I believed it as I had stayed in a really abusive marriage for 5 years in my 20's despite everyone trying to get me out.

It did seem plausible, but yeah, looking back, honestly no one would take that and react like she did. My ex 's abuse was very insidious and not so much in your face. Definitely will stop me commenting in future, feel a bit daft now!

I complimented Lavender95’s writing style and got told off for being passive aggressive.
I had asked for another to be deleted as it was definitely not passive aggressive.
I was trying to be polite.

Maybe my imagination is running away with me but is there a new one doing the rounds? Someone with a better tuned radar may know which one and if I’m just getting too caught up with imagining every thread about a twatty bf is from that poster 😁

@BunnyLake I have just been on one about a 6 year old child. It is being deleted now.
Seems that most of Mumsnet is a bit fake.😂
