Wow I was on that Kanye thread but went to sleep for a bit. So glad I didn’t see those photos and so sorry for anyone that has, I feel ill just thinking about it and I’m afraid to click on any threads now 😣

This is what I don't understand. Mumsnet is a buisness. It's unfair to expect volunteers to deal with this type of thing.
It's a multimillion pound business - I don't understand why people want to volunteer to work for it.

I think this is serious enough that the board should just be shut down until it's sorted. I don't know what sort of contact the night watch team have with MNHQ but at the very least someone should be on call to act immediately in cases like this, not just rely on the night watch to hide threads as posters report them.

Maybe they should remove the ability to post photos at times when MNHQ are not on duty. It's no great inconvenience to not be able to post photos overnight.

I've posted a thread in site stuff asking MNHQ to review their overnight policy. Although most people in the UK would have missed the affected threads (thank God) due to being asleep, there are many posters in different time zones who would not have been so fortunate.

I am sure the police have been informed, they will be moving quickly, as it’s vey easy to track them down these days. It won’t be long either way.
Sharing any images like that is an offence, it will be an aggravating factor that it is a public forum, and one aimed at parents. So particularly distressing.
