Why are you making fun of someone's appearance with your logo change

Can I ask why you've changed the logo to be big ears to poke fun at King Charles?

I'm not a royalist but I don't think making fun of someone like this for their appearance is really fair.

I think thr key thing here is it’s deliberate, the ears are bigger than the crown.

I genuinely didn't know there were so many po-faced professionally offended people in the world. Charles Windsor is known for his ears as an immediate identifying feature in political cartoons etc. World leaders and politicians past and present are always lampooned in this way, as they should be - Johnson, May, Blair, Sunak, Major, Thatcher and Elizabeth Windsor, Biden, Merkel, Trump, Macron et al. Satire is dead, killed off by squealing accusations of bullying of the most privileged, those with Orwell's boot stamping on our human faces - for ever. If it was impossible to come up with a logo change without a derogatory aspect,
(spoiler it wasn't- the crown would have been fine) then don't have one.
I doubt anyone would have noticed or cared if they hadnt changed it!

I’m really surprised at this logo. The crown is fine, the ears aren’t. I haven’t heard anyone mock the ears since I was little, I don’t even notice them now. It’s a dated, horrible approach. Either do something like the crown or nothing at all. Really badly judged and to quote mn back st mn ‘not in the spirit of the site’.

See I don't think it's ok to make fun of me because I can't walk properly. And to me, that's what this says. That the bullying I had was ok because let legs be legs.

Some people don’t seem to understand the meaning of the word hypocrisy. MNHQ is all “be kind” and “spirit of the site” until it comes to taking a swipe at the physical features of someone they don’t like, it seems - and a few users seem to think that’s fine.

I like the logo. I Like to think KC has a GSOH about his ears. Nothing to be ashamed of so why would he mind ?
