Ads covering a third of the page

Driving me mad! Mobile site on chrome, android phone.

I don't want Sky. I don't want a Mercedes. I simply want to read other people's threads. Sort it out please.

Using mumsnet is currently on par with any Reach publications website. As in shite and full of ads.

@Mabelface I hate Reach and refuse to read our local newspaper online because it’s a Reach website, once the ads cover more than 30% of the page it becomes unreadable and that’s exactly what mumsnet is like today. It only happened now and again on Friday and now it’s on every single page (including Active)

It annoyed me yesterday.
It's fucking me right off today 🙄
Happy to supply screenshot etc but as clearing cache and deleting search histories etc doesn't seem to work I'm not doing that.
MNHQ please sort it out

I'm getting them now too - I can't see or go straight to my notifications because there's a bloody great Mercedes banner covering the top of the screen. Android phone using FireFox.

These stupid adverts are making the site unusable. Does anyone even click on advert except by accident 🙈?

This is what I'm seeing, I can see posts like I'm peeping through a letterbox.

Not just me with this issue then!! I can barely read anything, I’ve got a holiday add covering 1/3 of the top of the screen permanently, sooo irritating!

Same here. It's driving me batty. Can't actually concentrate on reading any threads and just click off.

Yup, I keep getting the RIU ones. I gave up on mumsnet yesterday because of it, and now more that are taking up 1/3 of the page.

I will definitely no longer touch RIU with a barge pole, and if this goes on much longer, I’ll leave mumsnet for a while too 😔

I've literally just started a thread on AIBU about this (a lovely poster directed me here). This is driving me mad!

I came on to start a thread on this as it has only just started happening to me and see it has been an issue for days now! Site is practically unusable for me at the moment
