Ghosty - any chance you could get a screen grab of the ad if you see it again and send it to MNHQ? You're probably completely on top of screen grab technique, but just in case....

On a PC hit print screen and then copy it into a word doc

On a mac hit apple shift and 4

Thanks so much and apologies again, we really don't allow Nestle advertising and are doing everything we can to sort this.

BTW I can't see anything that says 'print screen'

I've just seen it too, but it's not a popup, it's a banner at the top of the screen.

Have also grabbed it, if MNHQ need to see the banner.

Do you think it's coming up more frequently here?

Glad you managed to send it in Sandcastles ... I couldn't work out how to do the screen grab thing ...
I tried all sorts of things (the bugger turned up as I posted my last post on here) but couldn't manage it. Where exactly will it say 'print screen' or 'PrtScn'

Ah, I see it ... it is on the same button as 'insert' ... I was searching all over the screen to find it
but when i just hit prtscn nothing happened ...

you have to go into word and then paste it

i.e. right click onthe document and choose 'paste' OR hit CTRL+P

then the picture will appear

Oh god.
I am so utterly thick.
I still can't do it. I don't understand what I have to do
I have just copied and pasted this document (the ad was there again) and pressed prtsc and after what seemed like ages the whole thread came up on my word document but has a Legal and General Ad on it.
I am resigning myself to a lifetime of never knowing how to do a 'screen grab'

MrsJC ... thank you for your patience, but can you tell me very very slowly, like I am a 3 year old, in 1. 2. 3. instructions, what do I have to do again? ...

Now, do you have a mac or PC? It's a PC isn't it?

So, does the PrtSc button have two words, one underneath the other, or just one?

Aha. I see it is insert.

So. Close down word completely and re-open it to a fresh page.

Then go to your thread with the offending popup and press the PrtSc Button. Either you will toggle 'insert mode' on or you will silently print the screen to the clipboard. It will not tell you what it's done, or indeed if it's worked. Or if it's switched on insert mode.

Now, to see what it's done, go straight away to word. Click on Edit, then choose paste. Or just do Ctrl-V.

What happens? Do you get a completely different picture? If you do, then click on Edit, Office Clipboard. This will show you what you've got stored in the clipboard - if you've been pressing PrtScr all over the place you might have a load of different images in there.

Tell me what's happening and I'll tell you what to do.
