Now I have Center Parks!

Must just be you NZers who have it!

MrsJohnCusack · 26/01/2008 01:53

it's back
you can earn rewards or something

I clicked it and it takes you to a .co.uk site so it's NOT for us down-underers

OverRated · 26/01/2008 01:54

I was going to say HSBC is a global company with branches in lots of countries but I agree, the pound sign would be odd.

MrsJohnCusack · 26/01/2008 01:55

I know I shouldn't have clicked it but you can't see where it leads from the link (hidden by the ad transferer) and I though it was worht seeing where it led

and I was RIGHT as it's for the UK

OverRated · 26/01/2008 01:56

SO why do some of us get region specific ones then? I'd much rather be seeing cottages4you then bloody Bank of America

MrsJohnCusack · 26/01/2008 01:58

am thinking that maybe the ads are provided by a third party and they don't cater for us lot down under so we just get the bog standard ones...

OverRated · 26/01/2008 02:07

Probably.

Did I mention how much I dislike the regional ads?

kiskidee · 26/01/2008 02:09

i keep seeing a post office one

ghosty · 26/01/2008 05:13

It seems to quite like me I think. I am seeing it everywhere [paranoid]
I could do with a coffee ....

Yoo hoo ghosty! Complete hijack, but since your up ... any chance of you finding a snailmail penpal for my 9yo dd? Someone in your ds's school? A neighbour?

Go and have a coffee and think about it!

X

ghosty · 26/01/2008 05:31

Hello 2sugars
Where do you live? DS may be interested - but I can't guarantee my his reliability (I was a hopeless penpal as a child - still can be a pants correspondent).
I could ask DS's best friend, she is turning 9 in a couple of weeks - or her twin sister ...
Did you want someone specifically in NZ or Aus (I am in Australia)?

2sugarsagain · 26/01/2008 05:49

Ghosty, don't think she minds, but, at dds stereotyping ....> I think she;d prefer a girl. She was 9 in August.

Tech · 26/01/2008 13:05

Hi all, we shouldn't be carrying ads for nestle, as far as I know. One must have slipped through the net. We'll let the agency know and have it removed.

ghosty · 29/01/2008 03:05

It's still there tech ...

alipiggie · 29/01/2008 03:11

It's you ghosty, just like OverRated I get Netflix and Sylvan Learning . Obviously Nestle's not such a big issue down under.

CarrieMumsnet · 29/01/2008 09:32

It definitely shouldn't be there. We reported it to the agency on Sunday and they apologised and promised to remove it. We'll get back to them and make them check again. Big apologies.
