Vibrator thread - why is that not in the sex topic?

I'm sure it was moved before. Why is it back in Active Convos? What's the point of having dedicated topics if even MNHQ don't use them?!

Active covers all topics. You'd need to hide the topic if you don't want to see anything from there.

As far as I know, the sex topic doesn't appear in Active

And actually, it isn't the sex topic - it's in 'Content' which is stuff promoted by MNHQ. Which is why, obviously, they want it in Active Convos.

Fair point,

I use the active threads rather than categories, due to mainly most threads usually lasting around a week before they fizzle, yes some do go longer but unless it's active then otherwise it's a mix as to weather the op still updates the thread.

Sorry it's taken a while to get back to you. We wanted to check the exact reasoning for this with our sales and content teams before we posted.

It is as we expected: the best sex toys page has been bought for sponsorship by Ann Summers, so that's why it was pinned in Active (and why it appeared again here after not being pinned there for a while) - it's part of the promotion that the Content team do for sponsored pages.

I do realise/understand that it's all about the money, but really? Do we have to have the sex ones in active convos? Can you not put them in the sex topic where all they belong?

Can your clients not pay to go in the sex topic where their target market is already waiting and gasping for them?
