Well thats a bit weird. MN broken on IOS and android?

I can't use mn desktop site on my ipad or the mobile site on my android phone. Both lock up. On IOS the threads don't load. On the android phone I cant click on any threads or scroll up.

But its fine on my laptop.

I think it's a problem with the huge ads. I couldn't use the site at all, on Firefox on laptop or on Android. Couldn't even post to report the issue. Added Mumsnet to Adblock on my laptop and it was immediately fixed. Don't have Adblock on my phone and Mumsnet still doesn't work on my phone. I prefer not to use ad blockers but it was the only thing that worked.

It's not working for me at all on my phone (iPhone running safari). I've. Logged into the app but I don't like the app. Grr. Think the world is telling me to get a life.

Android chrome, site's been buggy for a week, thread locking up, posts not loading.

Android duckduckgo, no problems at all. But I do get a video advert which runs in a small window, something which doesn't happen with chrome. Could chrome and popup adverts be locked in a battle?

Hi, you may need to delete cookies alongside clearing cache. Can you give this a go? Also can everyone check they aren't using private browsing?

I don't normally use private browsing on my phone, but that's the only way I can navigate MN at the moment.

I posted on a different thread, a wee while ago. But still having problems with the site sticking whilst scrolling over ads. I'm using Chrome on a phone running Android 10 - phone is reasonable spec with plenty of available memory.
Sometimes it will just stutter, other times I have to switch the screen on and off. Sometimes the ads are greyed out, but they don't cause any problems.
I do wonder if it's the ads that are above a certain size or the ones that have video components, so it might be an issue with slower WiFi, our WiFi isn't great - copper and about 20mbs, but no issues with other sites.
I do clear my cache every now and then, which helps a bit.

Same for me on ipad using safari. It loads a little bit but then struggles with loading the adverts and 'times out' error msg appears. I've cleared cookies. Been the same for 48hrs. Loads fine on PC using chrome plus adblocker.

Exact message is "Do you want to allow “www.mumsnet.com” to use up to 1.2 GB of storage on your Mac?" every single time. Then the page scrolls to the bottom when I click no.

Yes still broken for me. I'm on the app right now to send this - I hate the app. It's crashing safari on my phone so I can't use that at all @soniamumsnet it's still annoying.

It still doesnt work for me on chrome and google.
So I downloaded an ad blocker browser and it works fine on that.

Thanks for the reports, and sorry that this has been causing problems.

In Safari, please can you clear via ‘manage website data’ in safari preferences: support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/safari/sfri20879/mac. If that fails it may be worth upgrading the browser.

Give us a shout if you're still having any issues.

Still broken on Chrome on phone.

Needs fixing from Mumsnet end not relying on technical competence of users who may struggle due to disabilities etc. So yeah, still broken. Can't access at all on Chrome from phone. Doing a lot less mumsnetting as it is difficult to read now.

The website is now completely unusable for me since the latest IOS update. I keep getting a 'this page has expired message' then 'a problem repeatedly occurred'. Help! The app is rubbish as there is no way to refresh on a talk page.

To clarify - I can't view the website on my phone. I've tried clearing history and Mumsnet data and toggling various things. Sooo frustrating!
